Ok here it goes.. If you get upgraded they give you one for free. After that.. You gotta buy your own. Here is my story..

So I got happy it was free and what happened? I was a total dumbass and greedy that wanted a +5.

+1 with lucky was good.
+2 with blessed was good.
+3 with blessed was good.
+4 with a red was wonderful.
Here I am.. Thinking.. Do I go or not? What happened? Greed came over me and said "GOGOGOGO" and I did. It was odd too.. It was like this. I placed it on the left middle. So it starts going around. It slowed down on the elrue and then when it was about to be across it was really slow. Then it speed up and went onto the elrue. Go ahead laugh at that part XD I was like "WTF!" Then I had a smile(From the BS that made it go on purpose DX), but yet angry...


So I had like 5 silver left. I go buy another staff.

*Tries +1 without worry*

BAM VASH! JOO GOD OWNED! It breaks going for +1.

Then I sell some copper bars. I'm short a fucking silver. What did I do? I went to my storage and sold some yellow items.(The production ones that have a yellow outside). It wasn't a smart decision to sell them, because it'd be needed for the future, but well.. it is CB i doubt i'd need em XD

*I make 30Elrue* I just wanted to get the items out the way.
+1 good.
+2 good.
+3.. I was like.. Should I? I click turn away and look it was +3 again.

So if I were you guys.. Don't try to go for a higher + just for a few more dmg and better looks. Just wait it out till you have more silver.

wow u would have to be pretty lucky to get lvl20 weapon....

Don't worry Vash I know more items will come your way to make up for the loss.

o.0 sucks >_< i dont think its smart to go past +3 this earlier with the games economy bein the way it is lol.....but if u feel like u have the money/balls to do it more power to ya...ill cheer for you when it works but when its fails LOL....ill laugh

Yeah.. if I just get hold of a pet from the event tommorow I'll have the 8silver back.

Speaking of events... they better have just as much events during open beta!

I'm sure there'll be some sort of grand event from the start. Like give users some sort of guild name, pets, special items, user title, etc etc.

this is closed beta.

We are supposed to be finding all the bugs and stuff in the game, not be selfish greedy snobs.

I gave away 5 of eache blessed stone today after the dark forces event.

Later on I ended up needing a xir, and I was willing to trade 9 elrues, 2 blessed alrues, and a lix for one.

and everyone just wanted pure cash :o

Vash, I'll totally help you get some money :o
I can make alot of elrues and let you sell them O_o

Vash, you should do what I do! Get two weapons, and upgrade them back and forth until one breaks. When it does you keep the one that didn't!

^That'd require me to get ANOTHER staff.

Edit : I broke 2 more staffs today.

Broke about 4 Clubs, one +6. Wooo~ greed FTW.

I just broke 3 crossbows when I had one to a +6, and another at +5 >_> God why did I risk it.

^Because the higher plus makes you cooler.

Well it doesnt matter anyhow. It is closed beta. At least I know now not to go all at once D:

Item level 1 or 2?

If you're talking about elrue(1), and elrue(2) then it's still item level 1, but I'm fairly certain the lvl 30 weapons are item level 2.

For my lv20 weapons, i bought 2. And upgraded them one at a time until i reach my goal (to get a +6). Luckily both didn't break although they downgraded quite a lot of times. Sold my +5 weapon for quite a sum of money.

Upgrading seems to be very random. I broke 3 lv20 shields going to +1 using blessed and lucky elrue. I got my shield to +3 using normal instead. I don't trust the blessed and lucky items now...

I ONLY trusy blessed lol

I had 4 lucky lixes fail in a row, then 6 blessed work (not on the same wep, though =/ )

hahah i remember i was next to yu when something broke :S

I tried for +5 and it went down to +3.

I just tried upgrading my lvl 20 steel axe to +2 from +1, and IT FAILED AND DISAPPEARED. WTF now I'm gonna go broke buying another lvl 20 weapon, let alone the armor. God I hope CB ends soon...

I wonder if they're gonna put an item in that would decrease the rate of failure, at least stop your weapon from breaking like FlyFF. But then again, that would probably be a cash shop item so... I guess it won't make any difference for me =[
