Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsrugi
 

I think I might be the only person here who played this one, you can only play it (and read it) through "legal" means. (Quoted for good measure). Its the one with Roy from SSBM in it, and its probably ranking up there with Ocarina of Time in terms of best games ever.

In fact:

The normal mode is hard.

The chapter I'm on, 19A out of uhmm...I think 27 or 28, I've reset at least 19 times. Bloody thing is difficult, too many archers, too many random places that the enemies pop out of.

You guys should give it a try, but I'm prohibited by rules to tell you how to obtain the translated version of the game.

What console is it on? o.O I love Fire Emblem games.

Gameboy Advance. The first FE released in America/Outside of Japan, was FE7: Rekka no Ken

I think FE6 is the Sealed Sword, but I'm trying to steer away from the translated names. Rekka No Ken="Fire Emblem" in America.

Roy is amazing as a unit, Zeiphel has an even better weapon than anyone else in the game though.

FE6 has Roy
FE7 has Eliwood, Roy's father
FE8 has random people I don't know.


Zeiphel? Is he that prince that you save in FE7?

FE6 has Roy, Lilina, Zeiphel, Idoun
FE7 has Lyn, Eliwood, Hector, "Dragon"
FE8 has Eirika, Eirika's Brother (name escaping me), Lyon, and Formotis

I've played the one with Lyn. Haven't played the others... but still like the game. <3 Not a lot of good strategy games.

FE7 was well made. Hector Hardmode was painful. FE6 has a better story, and more interesting units though, at least I think.

But, your first mage is basically a tank to anything, at least mine is.

My friend was going to loan me Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for the GC over Thanksgiving Break but he got confused and gave me the CD for SSBM instead. Dx

PoR's final level is a pain. The ability system is kinda fun, if not a little flawed.

Ashnard (The final boss dude) *I think* is fairly easy to beat. I'd not know, the level is insane and I gave my disk to a friend when he bought my cube from me.

I started playing it last night. <3

I only have to evade 5 rounds of bolting with a level 10 theif x.x in my chapter.

Also, refer to a guide if you want the best ending, I've only missed one of the divine weapons (That being Armads/Almace)

Sue is not Lyn's kid, it's Rath's kid.

Fir is Bartre and Karla's kid.

I don't think there is any kid for Lyn...

Lyn+Rath=Sue

Conventionally, to copypasta from the Wiki:

If she has an "A" support with Eliwood, Hector, or Rath, she will marry them, becoming the mother of Roy, Lilina, or Sue respectively.

However, conventionally:

Roy+Ninian=Roy
Hector+Fiora/Florina=Lillina
Lyn+Rath=sue
Nino+that assassin guy= Lugh//Ray (I think, dunno on these)

And so on. Your talking to a FE freak here, you'll rarely astound me on something.

Umm... Roy has a baby with Ninian? Who then names it Roy?


What do you mean by she? Lyn? So Lyn and Eliwood would have Roy? And Lyn and Hector would have Lillina?

Correct, Lyn and Eliwood woukd create Roy.

And Eliwood+Ninian=Roy. Thankfully, Roy is the better Lord, who comes out with more well-rounded stats than Eliwood, who is either suck or god. I usually get suck.

That's why you save-state until you get better stats.

And yes, I am a save-state abuser. <3
