So what are your thoughts?

All the quest items require you to go into FBZ and open up the chests except the stockings which can be found from mobs.

ocean decided to have some 'fun' in FBZ1 but you have to admit I don't see the connection between PvP and the whole giving spirit that comes with the holidays. :3

The chests give you gift boxes which heal HP, SP or both and also permanent Christmas pets. So more reasons for ppl to fight over them :x

I'll sum up this entire event in 5 words

"Outspark has lost the plot"

Exactly my thoughts, Andro. Higher level players get a major advantage over lower levels.

Im not sure if u get it in outspark but its worth opening the chests cause u can get +2 pets and they are permanant. ^^ But it takes forever for that to happen

I don't mind it so much... yet. I like the fact I get to defend myself and get pissed at people. I just haven't brought out my steak yet.

I only think it's ok because I only tried it on my cleric so far and no one wants to pick a fight with me because they know I can transform into a heal bot (at first, anyway).

It was funny when this level 3x fighter started hitting a 2x archer next to me. Big mistake because I one-hit him. Later on the same 3x fighter kept getting owned by other people repeatedly so I invited him to my party to buff him. Not that my buff helped at all, but at least he got to stay standing for another second. After that he rage quit.

I think I'm one of the first people to have obtained glasses, and I got it shortly after everyone logged for the night. And I didn't even have to kill any low-lvl player to get it.*

It was nuts in there though. I got killed a few times by some 8x fighters, but that's to be expected in FBZ. Maybe I'm just used to it. But I do think it's unfair to the lower-levels. I'm 6x and even I couldn't hold off 8x players. I could survive a 1v1 with a 7x fighter, and I did in fact kill one for devaing me while I was trying to open a chest, but even lower levels would have no chance.

Though I doubt this was just coincidental. OS has been leaning toward pvp, so this was not a huge surprise. After all, why be killed when you can buy extenders, charms, etc... -_-

What i really hate is that ppl will kill noobs to get to the chests. I mean comon thats so unfair. There is enough for everybody. It really pisses me off.

I don't think he is beatable. I think he's supposed to stay alive and go around killing everyone. I think that's a nice touch though, sometimes it may stop bullies.

Always try and drag the MD to someone you want killed but too low levelled to do it yourself. Of course you'll have to die with them but I did that myself and it was a great feeling.

If i see some1 killing noobs i kill them)if i can help it) and show them how annyoing it is. I love it when the dragon is chasing you for really long before giving upü causer then its a challenge to open chests. Its no fun if some1 kills u or open them like normal treasure chests

killing n00bs aint fair and ive seen sum higher lvls goin to roumen to get the chests and kill a few of the n00bs to get @ them. but hten id go after these killas and kill em myself XD

At first I wasn't killing lowbies for chests and then the lowbies started attacking me ;-;

and although half the time it didn't even hit me, it's the thought that counts right? *bashes*

Eventually me and a capped mage partied up and he just AOE'd one area.. and if you stepped there... then no one even came to that corner and we just took turns picking off that one chest, sometimes two. =v
It was fun though, lol.

I kept inviting people, buffing, and booting XD
And then I was telling people if they left the chest that we wanted alone, we'd buff them.. And people just started leaving and giving us our little area. :3

Thats kinda being a bully and a little threatening. I sometimes pt with noobs just to help them get items. Sometimes they evén gave me a few pets even if i didnt need them. I have around 5-6 Pets +2 All stats.

In all honesty.. and this probably sounds terrible..

Although I'd absolutely love to spread the Christmas cheer, I kind of feel like Outspark did the higher levels a favor because once we all get our items and we're happy, the lower levels can do as they wish.

I just wanted my pet and now I'm done. xD

But you didnt have to kill noobs that just makes them, think the game is full of aholes(im not saying you are 1 but the true aholes in the game). And possibly make them play another game. :cries:and that would be terrible

I mean, I get where you guys are coming from; don't kill noobs, it's bad. I just don't care. :/
The odds of that player exceeding 40 is pretty rare. And considering there's a good chance I'll be playing this game for the next few months, why should I care if they get quest items that will rot in their retired inventories?
Do they care if I get my quest items?

The only reason they don't attack is because they know they'll get 1-shot.
Ask me nicely not to kill you, and how much you want to bet I don't kill you?

I'm not merciless because I killed a noob to get a quest item, it's like in a KQ how everyone rushes in at the end to get the kill.

I just don't like how everyone is pointing fingers at the higher levels who are just doing what they need to do to get something done. It's a PVP zone, no one lost experience points, no one lost anything of important (or at least I hope a noob isnt running around with T3s).
What does it hurt besides time?

But if other high lvls did what you did it would go on forever and that could make it a serious problem. Oh well its all about having fun.I was able to make my xmas quests.But had to kill a few idiots who tried atacking me. :arg: Whats ur fav. xmas item: slime head,glasses or santa hat

And, I have a low level mage and I kept getting killed by anyone who thought I could. So I know how it feels, but like I said, I just don't care.

It's obviously going to take my mage 500x longer than my cleric XD

And I find the whole thing fun.. They came out with this whole idea about powerleveling with the academy and the apprentice system and now they're turning us against eachother again >D

I did see a massive amount of 5-6x players start mauling this level 80 cleric.... That was so funny. XD

Ur probably right that ppl dont care and yet u dont know them.They may complain and stuff like that.but u make a good point. But the char reaching 40 is quite high its lvl 60 i think where they start giving up.

I actually don't see a lot of mages PVPing

It's mostly just higher levels bashing their ways through the ones they can hit in two-three shots.

When I'm on my mage, I hardly ever die by a mage attack (I think it has something to do with the range) I really only get attacked by the people who are closest... like clerics and fighters. :/

As for them beating the cleric, I think they did once and then they're whole revolution fell apart and it was back to being noobs again, but it was entertaining and she was in my party.. and I didn't heal... :3 "sorry, I completely lagged, how did you die?!"

YA but itll take alot of time to do this... It took me 2hours before i got my rudolph:cries:. But i finally got it:laugh: and its permanant im gonna sell it in a few months cause ppl will buy for 150s.

Lol :laugh: They are devils:devil:. Lagging is so annoying right? Especially if ur fighting boss and u need to be healed. You dont die from mage attacks cause ur magic def. You are resistant to magic attcks. im Not:cries::cries:

I just woke up (can't believe this thread has 4 pages) but... I don't feel as bad killing people for the chests. It's tempting when there are like 3-4 people crowded at a chest to Whirlwind and Deva them. I don't have to kill them really but it's like looking at a group of mobs. :cheeky:

And I'm enjoying the occasional fight that breaks out between the higher levels. I just activated my extenders (not to pvp but to grind) so I can handle it when I am ganged up on. It was funny how the one fighter got his friend (and later a cleric) to get at me cause I killed him "for no reason". Yeah, I only kill if you attack my guild mates. >3

Anyone know which quest the Red Gift Box belongs to?

:3 i just party with most of the high lvls. they dont bother me and MOST of them dont kill the others. XD i went and logged on to fiesta, and checked it out, it is CHAOS in there :D i didnt even go near FBZ2. but right now bijou is offline... Dx probably nice and quiet. lol

Anyway its only really ok if you atack ppl ur own lvl or around it(this is my opinion). It is tempting to see 4 at 1 chest and not try to kill them i understand. Killing to defend someone else is definetly ok(again my opinion).

They are just there to let you recover ur hp (blue gives SP) and (Yellow gives 500 of each)

It is fun
except it totally ruins christmas spirit

I was in FBZ1 on my lvl 43 archer, and I stood at 1 spot and only pick at chest that spawns next to me. It was all well and good, until a higher level fighter went for the same chest as me. My expert yellow-bar skill won the chest, and she killed me for it LOL!!

Sometimes it depends on which spot you're standing. I notice that some areas attract more fighting than others. I avoided those areas which was fine for me.

I joined Blah and a.L in FBZ2 for half an hr, there were a lot more bullies there, and as a lvl 74 cleric, I had some power and it was relatively fun for me LOL! (Find a bully, and bully the bully! YEAH!)

But when i was on, it was apparnetly 5am in the US, so, the real bad bullies are probably still sleeping.

but for 1 night, I think I had fun!

I found a nice emo corner that spawns chests nicely and sometimes 2 really close intervals
except this afternoon there was a fighter who kept on killing me.
He didnt even want anything. he just saw me standing there so he came into my emo corner and killed me repeatedly .___.
I didn't even bother to get up from my sitting position.....

One of the annoying thing is, when u press "Move" you spawn randomly somewhere, and ur spot is gone :cries:
