Okay, i've played fiesta since April :D

i've seen screenshots of before christmas 07'

there was snow

are they going to be adding that soon?

i was kinda thinking they would have added it already, being 2 weeks till x-mas =/

Who knows? With so many complaints about the lag last time, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't add the snow. :/

If Outspark actually left snow out this year that would be the most considerate thing they have ever done since not everyone has a top of the line PC that can handle the snow perfectly.

perhaps they'll make it something like a seperate download

like if u want the snow, download the file from the site instead of it automatically downloading it in the launcher

and if ur comp cant take it, it should come with an uninstaller

dun think outspak is that nice.. they wouldnt go through all that trouble to make their players happy. Next thing you know theres a new SC item "snow" that puts snow on your screen "1 month for 7k SC", sigh.... they just want the money -_- its always been like that....

They should have just altered the graphics so that it looks like it had snowed. Like... make piles on the tree tops and such. But I'm sure that'd take too much time x.x

They could always add a graphics option called Dynamic weather events. When disabled, it would not run things like snow, or event oriented weather effects. To give people the option of weither or not to run snow, than forcing it on everyone else.

Besides, they didnt remove that crap till february anyways last year. I dont wanna get stuck looking at christmas crap two months longer than I have to.

A decent graphics card is really not that expensive.

Not to sound uppity or anything, but it's not like they're asking you to buy an NVIDIA 200 series graphics card. $200 gets a card that will last quite a while.

The computer in my room that I play fiesta on is kinda crap...
Its atleast 4 years old, an e machines, and i bought a pretty cheap radeon graphics card and my comp ran that snow just fine.
So you gotta have a pretty crappy computer for that to cause severe lag,
but like triumph said I'm not meeaning to insult anyone or anything:P
And I have seen some radeon graphics cards at the source for 120 bucks that the guy there said it would run games like gw's and wow so yeah its not that expensive to go out and get one. I got a radeon 512 mb? for like 300 bucks n i dont no the exact one but it works fine..... ask for a new graphics card for christmas :D

My intenet was the problem...but i think taking away the wireless modem helped

But the weird thing is that the snow is everywhere, even in the strangest places: GC,Burning Hill etc. And it gets annoying sometimes too.

The snow in burning rock made me giggle...

Maybe they should just put it in towns?
