We just Mank / Clanked a MD!!
 

I was on my level 51 mage and...

Just got out of an awesome (i wouldnt say the best) MD (normal) KQ.. with two awesome cleric in my party!!

We did have a good tank... she tanked all the boss up until MD, I think she died twice and either lagged out or rage quit, but either way, she wasn't there for most part of MD...

When the main tank disappeared, TheOnlyCleric stepped in and clanked MD.

MD ran around on a killing spree as TheOnlyCleric needed time to hold aggro.. I only had buffs, I wasn't scrolled up and it jumped on me... amazingly I survived! (with 18HP left)

The other cleric, sentra108, was amazingly keeping up with all the heal and reviving the two squishies that kept dying in our party.

Eventually MD came after me when TheOnlyCleric got feared... i put on my T3 scrolls and became 2nd tank.. as a lvl 51 Mage! XD (Ok, i've got 3/4 +9 gears... but I was still surprised I could tank MD)

So with that and the great firepower from the KQ group..

Yeah i was like OMG where's the tank?!

then checked that the clanker nad 4k HP... then.. i didnt get 1HKO at the fire and the jump...

so we took over!

i scrolled up T3 vit / def / m.def...

but i wouldnt hv scrolled up if I didnt know whether I would get 1HKO...

I tried to tank MD the other day with T3/T2 scrolls. I failed.

Congrats, by far the best thing that ever happened to me when I did the MD on Crux, was tanking the MD and the monsters as well because I was dropping so much AOE. I only had 1 cleric, I was t3's up. I enjoyed it.

[ And no, I'm not an "Anchor" before you ask ... ] I was ALWAYS thrown into tanking MD, mainly because "HEY THAT ARCHER HAS FULL T3! LET HIM TANK!" -_-''

Still fun though, and I got the 2/2/2 earrings out've it.

ohh and reading this i finally figured out what OHKO is ^_^ -1 nub point for me

its sad to see that most fighters nowadays dont bother scrolling up...

and all the cleric / mage / archers do.. and we end up doing their job...

but I guess that's wat made it so special!

One could say they might not be able to afford too many T3 scrolls. :/

- But is MD that hard now a day...? or people aren't that good anymore... i haven't play since august b/c concentrade on school "philosohpy major," will be back during summer though :):)... Back then when i still play, MD KQ is easy, it not that hard at all, all you need to do it team work, especially now aday with +9 weapon and amor, and do not tell me that you can not afford tier 3.... at lvl 50 you should have so much silver already.... well it may be understandable if the tanker was suck... if you a tanker... better use those stone if you want to be a tanker... i guess the effects of powerlvling degrading the games, people didn't go through the difficulty of lvling w/o cash shop or enhance weapons, they depend on those too much and don't know what to do... too bad, if you enter any KQ with me that will be a win automatically... "you have to take initiative action right way.... be a leader when enter KQ, ask for tanker, arrange party and tell people what to do, that how i always win most of my KQ, ... except Spidy... sometimes people is so stubborn keep on wanting babies from Queen Spidy ^^

I think MD KQ has always been hard... (Apart from when it got glitched) When I did MD KQ on my main many months ago... we had trouble keeping our tank alive...

but back then I haven't discovered the beauty of Magic Defence scrolls *O*

but yeah.. so many fighters nowadays dont even bother scrolling up AT ALL... naturally they should have the most HP, but coz they think they're "wasting their scrolls" anyway they dont even try.. which really annoys me....

some non-tanking fighters just run in and repeatedly die at MD's feet... which annoys me... like the level 54 fighter in my party.. hence i blurred out his name...

its hard to find any +9 equips on apoline in general and when i do find some, they are 20g+ ~.~ Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I think my gear costed no more than 3-4g each...

What annoys me is how some people (especially the lower levelled ones that are on the first MD quest) always try to finish these quests and they go off and do random stuff such as pull mobs they can't handle (and they die) or they pull mobs while we're fighting GGK or something. And then they spam up shout b/c they want people to help them kill their Hob or whatever. -.-

You know wat happened in the MQ i was in yesterday?

About 5 people randomly got disconnected at the same time... when they came back, we're already half way down the map...

so they came running to us with a massive chain of mobs...

As soon as I see them from around the corner, they drop dead, then the whole chain when and killed the next person they saw... and we had about 5 hob sand 6 ogres on a killing spree while the tank is killing GGK!

luckily we had an awesome tank and cleric who actually tanked most of it while us squishy fire off our fire balls...
