nasty good for nothing idiots hu make u wish u cud pvp in roumen.

spammers are the leading cause of communication loss and eye problems shows a recent medical enquiry.

so how do we get rid of their annoyin messages about gold costin ?$$$$$

i heard on another thread somewhere that there is a way to block spammers. how exactly?

you can right click on the name and select block but this wont work for long because the spammers simply create a new char with a new name.

The one that po's me is that they have figured some way to spam wispers.

Yeah right click their name in the chat box, and an option to block should come up...

becareful you dont accidently block your friends though, as there's no proper way to unblock people...

Blocks get purged upon complete exit of the game for the most part, or they last for so long.

^ Naah, they get stored in some file on your system, so reinstalling the game should work. I remember reading on some thread about how you could use notepad++ to edit that file (by removing your friend{s}'s IGNs.), but I don't remember the details, and I'm not entirely sure if it accords with the ToS.

lmao if you cant unblock people theres ALOT of nubs that spam for buffs that ill never hear from again... no complaints here... and i player hide in towns so only the whisper spams bug me

i think the block list eventually clears up on its own without hving to reinstall the entire game...

but no one knows exactly when / how it clears itself...

sometimes logging onto a 2nd account helps

im not sure about those. but i always get so fed up that i seldom enter roumen and elderine. even if i do, i just block them. :hulksmash:

Yeah it's real awful in Elderine and Roumen. You don't really see this crap in Uru, at least I don't. I filter chat anyway. And you can edit the notepad, but be careful. You can crash the game if you're a novice and then you'll have to download it again. I'll find the link to paste it again when I get the chance so that ppl don't jack up the game on their pc's.

I'm not so sure posting the way to edit that file is a good idea. Technically, it IS against the TOS as it's editing a game file. I think we've had this discussion before. If someone requests the info, you should probably PM it to them instead as these forums are occasionally frequented by Outspark staff. Just a heads up.

the reason its not in uruga is because them damn spammers arnt of high enough lvl to get there :zzz:

since the new teleport npc's, all the monsters that would attack u from roumen to eldy dont attack unless they are being attacked
