omg, please, help,, can you get a divorce on fiesta?

omg, hes a jerk, dont like him anymore,,
and i think its stupid now,,

so if you can,, please tell me how.

Manzcar 11-21-2008 09:00 PM

:cries: nope... unlike the real world where rushing into marriage has an easy out Fiesta has no divorce policies.

Loveless 11-21-2008 09:00 PM

Can't.

They don't have that option yet.

PaixEtAmour 11-21-2008 09:02 PM

omg,, that makes me so mad,,
ahh. -.-

Manzcar 11-21-2008 09:07 PM

Yes you can't get a divorce but the kewl thing is that you don't have to hang out with Mr. Jerk anymore and you still get the buff.

So look at the bright side you can drop the zero and still be a hero with the buff.

PaixEtAmour 11-21-2008 09:26 PM

lol,, yayness

does anyone know if they will ever make that option?

Loveless 11-21-2008 09:28 PM

Please don't double post and use the edit button.

And they said they are working on it. But I don't think even the Korean version has that option yet.

Spirit 11-21-2008 09:30 PM

There is always the option of deleting your character and starting over. :zomg:

PaixEtAmour 11-21-2008 09:33 PM

lol,, ahh,,
omg,, i was gonna,, but i dont think i'm gonna. ._.

ive worked really hard and have amazing friends lol

Loveless 11-21-2008 09:34 PM

Well you don't have to go with the extreme option. And like Manzacar said... you don't have to be joined at the hips and just enjoy the buff.

zeilfridge 11-21-2008 09:37 PM

^^

so,, just play it,, and don't try to hip it,.,.(stay away from Mr:devil: jerk is recommended.,.,)

Zwivix 11-21-2008 10:05 PM

Couldnt it be possible to just marry someone else?Would that be possible?

PaixEtAmour 11-21-2008 10:20 PM

i wonderr.(:

Mindspank 11-21-2008 10:39 PM

Great, I can see it scrolling across the bottom of my CNN now.

"Korean based MMORPG Fiesta has begun to support the time honored morman tradition of piligamy."

Hraesvelg 11-21-2008 10:51 PM

Polygamy and polyandry have been traditions in various cultures throughout history. It's a bit unfair to lay that at the Mormon's feet. They're a relatively new kid on the block in historical terms. Stick to nailing them about the magic underwear.

Uhm, if you didn't know already, divorce came out. :3
It costs 800s for uncontested and they have to be there with you when you get the divorce.
It takes no SC.
/EDIT: The other form of divorce doesn't take money, I think.
But they still have to be there for you to divorce them.

Tho, I'm trying to get remarried myself, and I can't, so I think you have to wait a while before remarrying. D:

=O

You can get divorced? I didn't kno that...
I have this fun Idea for revenge, and I'm not sure if it will work, but I want you guys to hear it. If I think what i think I think is true, you can teleport to your spouse wherever they are, and that's how people of high levels get into low level abyss and such. I would wait until I knew he was in abyss, fighting a huge mob, and ambush him, by teleporting to where he was randomly, and then just beat the crap out of him, and scroll out! ^_^
Then I would get the divorce.
But I dunno if it will let you hit your husband in abyss. I know it wont lemme hit my guildies. anyhow, good luck and such!

Edit: Wait, is that him in your signature? Lol, you better get on to removing that =D

Loveless 11-29-2008 12:17 AM

It costs in-game money whether you both agree to it or not (800s if it's forced, half that if you both agree). Though I'm sure you can hit your husband/wife... I doubt they'd summon you while they're surrounded by a huge mob. O_o

Seasam 11-29-2008 12:25 AM

Yeah but if you could wouldn't it just be really fun? ^_^

O wait, you cant teleport to them? you can only summon them? That's cool, you can still screw them that way. You know, wait until you see them hanging out with only their newb clothes on, and then run into someplace EXTREMELY DANGEROUS O_O and summon them there, and then scroll out.

And I'm sure you do fun little variations on that! Imagination is probably your best friend when it comes to revenge.

Loveless 11-29-2008 02:13 AM

Hmm... when someone summons you you have the option of declining. .__.

Lady-Loki 11-29-2008 03:10 AM

Well, I wish the divorce process were better defined. I wanted to look at the options and I think I applied for the agreed divorce option. Sad thing is the other person does not play Fiesta anymore and cannot agree.

Here is what I saw:

http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u...Confused-1.jpg

Confusing to me since collaborative is an agreed option and uncontested seems similar. To me the forced option should be identified as non-collaborative. Anyway, confused by those options so I selected option 2: uncontested - and I get this:

http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u...Confused-2.jpg

Now, odd thing is, I am still married.

As for cost? I have no idea. It never told me how much either option was (that was what I was actually hoping to determine when I went to talk to the wedding NPC anyway), so I feel sure some money was taken from my account, I just don't know how much I had to begin with so I don;'t know how much was taken.

And, that said, I don't know if there is a period of time before the wedding is removed from my character or if I actually applied for the one that the other person has to selact also. If that is the one I selected then it seems to me that the NPC should have told me my spouse was not there like she does if you try to register to get married & the engaged partner is not in a close enough proximity.

I guess I will give it a few days and see if the divorce has a time period to wait before it appears as applied and if it still shows her married I will try to see if support can assist.

Edit, I hope what this post has is not actually the case. If it is then how do you get a divorce if the other person does not play at all anymore?

Lady-Loki 12-02-2008 04:31 AM

KK, hate to double post - but I have an update.

The second option, uncontested, is confirmed as the forced divorce. My mage lost her marriage buff and wedding pets. I don't know if it was a 3 day delay or 4 day delay since I did not log her on (that I recall) last night, but tonight is is definitely divorced.

I still do not know how much I paid for that divorce since I was not really intending to apply for it at the time I accidentally did, however, I can confirm that the first option, collaborative, took 250s when I intentionally applied for a divorce on my archer girl. I am assuming it took that same amount from Manz when he told the wedding NPC he wanted the divorce also.

And, yes, there is a reason for all this madness - my mage, who is now my main was married to someone who no longer plays so I want her married to Manzcar since we party together more and I am on my mage more than my archer.

Melissa27 12-08-2008 07:01 PM

oops, sorry. wrong post

Everina 12-08-2008 07:07 PM

I got divorced. It took me about 7 days after divorce was completed for me to be able to re-marry.

I <3 Giott
