kirbysprite 11-16-2008 04:14 PM

My character is level 37...

I started in March, so 9 months?

Vasu 11-16-2008 04:16 PM

Mine is 46 in...a year.

Kenryuu 11-16-2008 04:18 PM

Thanks for the fast replies guys ;D

Lady-Loki 11-16-2008 04:24 PM

I have a L74 mage which took since Open Beta launch.

But that is not necessarily a true representation of how long it would/should take since I also have a L63 cleric, a L60 archer and a L48 fighter, all of which I worked during the same time.

kirbysprite 11-16-2008 04:34 PM

Yeah, I agree with what Loki says. I mean, I could really go higher, if I could play more... I mean I probably only play Fiesta like once a week, for like an hour...and I rarely get on now.

Kenryuu 11-16-2008 04:43 PM

well I was really suprised when one of my friends went from lvl 20-lvl 68 in one or 2 months...

Are you me?

Carmasa 11-16-2008 07:03 PM

Lv. 83, but I take breaks from the game over and over. If you set up how long I've been online, and it's been my main game,it'd probably be around two to three months max.

ie. I've been playing MAPLESTORY- that's how much I'm tired of this game's repetition, shitty community, and OutSpark's greed/laziness.

Is that your first character?
My first cleric took more than 3 months to get around lvl40...

But when I started my archer about 5 days ago, I was able to level it very fast :/ It's 35 now, almost 36.

Yosei 11-16-2008 07:46 PM

I've been playing since CB. Basically, I cap, wait a bit til the cap raises, cap again, etc.

Yeah, I'm your long lost twin... (sorry, I'm not trying to spam this thread up.)

Mindspank 11-16-2008 07:59 PM

Im only l 35 and I have been playing since December 2007.

I am what you would call a...

casual...gamer.

Hessah 11-16-2008 09:05 PM

probably a year for me to, to get my cleric to lvl 74...

i play for leisure not for levels... so i spent a lot of time hooning around... not really grinding... i think i spent a 2-3 weeks on lvl 70, doing KKP 80% of the time

A_Forever 11-16-2008 09:06 PM

Half a year or more >.> And I am only like 40 something. (Yeah, I can't even remember.)

Ralath 11-16-2008 09:06 PM

The first 40ish levels were fairly easy for me. I know I got to level 20 in like... 2 days. xD

And then level 40 in... a couple of weeks?

But schools started and I don't have that much time to play. Plus, I always fall asleep when I'm in grinding parties... xD

Mindspank 11-16-2008 09:09 PM

Actually, I spend alot of time conversating with the various denizens of bijou. Two of the best places to have a conversation are the forest of mist and moonlight tomb. We have had conversations about everything, from relationship advice to the meaning of life. Hell I think we even solved cold fusion one night.

So my fault is laziness as to why im only lvl 35 after a year.

koager 11-16-2008 09:37 PM

I started at or near the begining of summer vacation I think
My mage is now lv54
and I have lv31 cleric, lv23 archer, and lv22 fighter xp

zeilfridge 11-16-2008 10:32 PM

i start from july,,
then didnt play for month for the new client issue,

after that i play and now i lvl 4X

x:zomg:P

Belaslav 11-16-2008 10:37 PM

Around 1 year here... Lmao.

Kaidela 11-17-2008 12:35 AM

About a year to get my first character to level 80, with plenty of breaks in between. I switch to alts a lot. :P

Samson007 11-17-2008 02:18 AM

My 71 fighter was my first character. I made him in July, so........about 5 months.

Triumph 11-17-2008 02:33 AM

Level 62 in two months, no cash shop items.

Esen 11-17-2008 02:39 AM

Started in September 2007. Stopped playing around... April? March? Play less when I have classes of course. Didn't play that much in the end of summer. My highest character is 50.

I felt less motivated to grind around level 39 and took a break around level 41 or 42 I think (April/March). Was motivated again on the desire to get to 50 (Summer) and it kind of died down again (End of Summer). Plus, I have school.

It's not really that the archers are faster to level up with...I guess...hmm after making a number of characters and going through lvl1-30/40 quite a few times, I taught myself how to level up fast, grind on what when ^^
If you want some pieces of advice, feel free to pm me about it

Spirit 11-17-2008 01:14 PM

It has taken me since OB to get a 74 Cleric, 63 Mage, 63 Fighter, and a 50 Archer.

But, what you also have to take into consideration; was for those of us that have been playing since the beginning, it was not easy to level. They have made the game so much easier now than when we were grinding to high levels.

We did not have the extra exp now given in quests or less mobs to kill for the early quests. Also, a lot of the mobs in the lower level maps that they have made non-agro’ing, were agro when we were little noobs.

monkeydaddy 11-17-2008 02:33 PM

as pf now i have a character in each class and they are all around lvl 20 but my high level main is my cleric also known as monkey_daddy and i started him around a month ago and i got to lvl 51 last night. I also dont have much of a life and recently have just started getting on fiesta for the stimulating conversation offered by friends and guild members.

t0nggX 12-09-2008 08:53 AM

it took my cleric maybe 1 month? its easy when you grind in abyss ! :urweird:

ps// maplestory develops too fast ! i had a lvl 105 priest but i didnt play the game for about 6 mths. when i returned, i was dumbfounded by how much the game developed and gave it all up! so i turned to fiesta HAHAA :arg:

cillia 12-09-2008 06:19 PM

my main is lvl63 :S i started playing her beginning of January '08..
she would be 7x if i played her more though xD

EdwardWarlock 12-14-2008 04:52 PM

51 In like 5-6 months. My PC crashed for a few months, so I feel behind my peers. i had some good high level pals and I grinded a lot in the beginning versus completing quests.

Ninja_Medic 12-14-2008 04:57 PM

lets see...

i started Ninja in April of 2008, and just hit 74 a couple days ago

so 9 months...

WOW its been a long time, i never realized that, LOL

but tomo, started like 2-3 weeks ago, almost 50 now :nahnah:

Ultimangel 12-19-2008 11:06 PM

woah.... that sounds EXACTLY like what happened to me. I am such a slow lvler no matter how much I grind. And it's hard for me to get parties to grind with.
