Lantern Soul Too Pricey ?
 

I think the Lantern Soul now since the event have come out ( since last night Patch) I see Now the Lantern Soul are over 5 to 35 sliver a item. i know its the event Item but it should be not selling or trade but i guest the outspark whanted to. But anyway you think its too pricey for the Item ?

Well yeah i know that but i mean i think its just too pricey then again the item is hard to find just like the seed from the last event.

if you dont want to buy it then you grind for it.. if they dont make it tradeable, you gotta grind for it anyway

I'm glad they made it tradeable (and storageable) i would die of I had 25 on 1 character, 10 on another character, 15 on a 3rd character and I cant put a pumpkin head together....

Is the pumpkin head tradable, by chance?

I saw someone vending the pudding. I don't understand why the lanterns are valued so highly. As I understand it the rewards, while perm, have no stats.

Yeah the pudding is vend-able, someone was buying it for 2g :rolleyes:

2g for one pudding? Well that's a load of fail. 2gx5 pudding = 10g for a mask. I've seen most souls being sold for around 20s, give or take. So we've got 20sx250=5000s, or 5g.

Those who are in a rush is going to lose out. As with most events the thing dies down eventually and the prices go down.

Or just grind. I'm sure that the event will at least last until next maintenance if it's short... at most probably 2 weeks? More than enough time to collect souls IMO. If you're like at your 5th cycle and need that last 5 then perhaps you can buy but otherwise... save silvers for something a bit more worthwhile!

yeah i worked out last night.. based on 2 nights of playing, i get about 3 lanterns a night.. so... after 83 days i should have my kitty mask ^^

EDIT: OK well i was on my archer, fighting magic staffs and wat not.. i was only half a$$ playing / chatting... in about 10 mins it dropped me 3... but that was it for all night... (of about an hr)

Really. Go to Burning Rock and kill Fire Nix. Great exp and they drop quite often. o__o Maybe have a partner who doesn't mind giving you the lanterns? :O

I didn't bother getting the Kitty Mask, becuase I don't really like it. I did get the Pumkin Mask though. I set up a shop in Roumen, just outside the entrance gate and with the help of a friend i got all 50 in under and hour only needing to pay 150s. I then created a new character, an archer and helped him get his. So together we got 100 lanterns in 2 hours spending under 350s between us.

Now that I got both masks the lanterns are dropping like flies. Figures.

lanterns are intersting drops, they drop like 5 in 1 go then doesnt drop any for 15 mins or something keke

And yea, I was amazed at the prices. On the first day, each sold for 60s. Last I logged in, it was advertised for 20s.

Go figures.

Now, it's advertised for <5s.

lanterns arent that hard to get
especially if you have an alt (if you get a master from below level 10 and get to lv20 you would have 4 war rants to harvest with)
I can get a bunch of them and sell them off and make lots of money~~~

Rawr its way too pricey, but I wanna get my pumpkin head (only need 10 more!! T.T) and then sell the rest I get, kitty is ugly so i dun want it XD

I got 47 in just 3 to 4 hours of grinding and bought the last 3 at 5s last night right before i logged to just be done with it. All I wanted was the punkin head.

Its going to be a sad day when they take these things back out of the game. Cause I have made a killing selling them.

I spent the last week grinding my ass off in the 60 and 70 abyss.......GOT TO LEVEL 70 LAST NIGHT AT LAST!

Point is, during that time I collected well over 100 lantern souls. I have no desire to wear a pumpkin on my head, don't see the point of pudding, so I sold them all.

The first 30 or so sold for 25s, then I lowered it down to 15 for the next 50 or so that I sold. I sold like 20 more at 10s each the other night and I still have around 25 of them from finishing off my level last night.

you should have seen this shop on bijou.

they were selling lanterns 90s each. also saw a store for 200s each.

Well then I dought anyone would buy them then, unless they had extrodinary amounts of money they had to waste on something.

no wonder the lanterns are still in their shop XD

actually about 3 hours later i came by and someone had bought a stack @_@

and now I have 2.1g and still going
need more money to buy a lv60+9 wand~~~

Where are you getting all those lanterns? Are you creating noobs to get em... O_o
