Here we have the entries by our members of their own unique costumes! Voter's and entries will remain anonymous until the winner is decided.

Voting Rules:

[i] Please refrain from discussing an entry so as not to sway voter’s decisions.

[ii] Please respect the work of each participant. (In other words don't say crap cause you didn't take the time to make one)

[iii] Do NOT create multiple accounts to vote. We will find out.

[iv] Participants will be revealed when the winner is chosen.

[v] Voting will last for a week.

Yes sorry ._. but I only know half of them. Good idea for next contest is to upload all the files to your photobucket account or use imageshack to prevent this.

I always tend to notice the smallest things so beware :ninja:

So, after viewing them all a couple times, I decided on one BUT when I clicked the first one it made that stupid dotted box thingy around it and without actually looking to make sure I had 1 chosen... I clicked vote. Turns out my vote went to entry 8.

See what I mean by failing hard? THEY AREN'T EXACTLY THAT CLOSE TO EACH OTHER Dx

Sorry guys, if you have voted for the wrong one by accident, we will not be changing it for you. This is to prevent people from using this excuse to change their votes for some other reasons. Of course we trust most members here not to lie but for big events like this, we can't change the votes to prevent any complications. SSOTW is a bit different though since it is not a "big" event.

Didn't really care for a whole lot of them. Also didn' really care for the contest when I saw the one big, glaring rule (CUT + PASTE ONLY!). To me that ruined a whole lot of ideas (and a whole lot of fun, and I don't just cut + paste).

Thanks for your feedback. The reason we did this was to open the contest to more people, rather than artistically talented people with knowledge of graphic programs like Photoshop. We've had several other "designing" contests such as designing banners and signatures. We feel it will really be unfair for the rest of the community whose interest does not lie in art, so they will not be able to have a fair chance at winning the contests compared to those who have extended knowledge on graphical programs prior to the event.

Sometimes, people have the imagination but not the skills to present it in a nice and 'profesional' way. Also, more often than not, there are many artistically talented people out there who lack the imagination. The purpose of this contest was to allow members to use their imagination and creativity to win this contest, and not artistic skills.

Hopefully that will give you some insight on our decision on this. We may consider another event focusing on artistic skills if many members of the community express interest in this.

Anyway, the rest of the people have until I get back home to close this thread. Roughly 7-8 PM (PST).
