about critical rate
 

hey I'm still relatively new to the game, and there is something iv noticed. on a few higher leveled weapons when people get them enhanced, iv also noticed that the critical rate is increased. I was wondering if anyone could tell me why that is, whether its a random from using lucky or blessed stones, or if it is something entirely separate.

It's something totally separate. You get it from levelling licenses. Look here for more information.

Also, since you're new to the game, most of your licenses won't upgrade critical rate, so you might as well wait for level 25 +ish.

It's possible that they had a completed license. A completed license adds a certain number of critical rate to the weapon. Enhancing doesn't change the crit rate.

I believe the Grave Robber license is the first that can give you increased critical rate.

Little Lizardman and Kebing too. At that lvl I always found Kebing the easiest of those 3.

and a thing about licenses..... the higher the lvl monster license, the harder it is to complete, compensating by giving you increased damage and eventually adding %CRIT to the weapon, licenses are also helpful for lvling especially if your still in the mid ranged lvls...allowing you to kill monsters faster

The kills your party member gets also counts towards your license kill now!

(In the "old" days... only the person with last hit counts towards the license)

I can imagine a Lv 50 person leveling an Orc License with the help of a Lv 89 Mage by Frost Nova and Inferno. You could complete an entire license in one day. Or if your friend is realy kind enough you could go afk while he levels your license

not to mention you can have a party of 5 finishing 5 license at the same time...

That's cool! Now I can be the party cleric I am, and still level my licenses!

that's nice.. i wonder is there an exact calculation on the stat by euips?? all i know is just the free bunos stats.

can anyone share something. coz im experimenting some build....

That may not work, but could be worth a try. I know that once the beast name turns white for you kills are not credited to the lic. It would be interesting to see if lower lev party members with a lic get credit.
