So, I am standing at Nina on my cleric decomping dusts to work my archers stone making skills and this other archer asks if I can make copper ores. I tell her yes, and tell her that it takes 4 copper ore LQ to make 1 copper ore Reg. She trades me just the ore, no AS. But, no biggie, cuz it is T1 and my fame is maxxed. Then I tell her what she gave me will make 8. She actually told me not to lie and be honest.

I asked her why would I lie? What would I gain? This is LQ copper we are talking about?

So, then she trade me more LQ to make 8 more reg. I give her those, still not asking for AS.

So, then she asks if I can make xir and I told her I could, but on another character. So, she asked me to go get her. I did and went over to Nina and asked her for the mats. She told me, but I don't have the mats.

???????????????????????????? No, I will not make you xir for free. Buy them from a shop or something. <---- did not tell her that, just thought it.

But, seriously, if you ask someone to comp something up and you aren't even going to provide AS, do not tell them not to lie. That floored me, but the wanting me to make her xir with no mats floored me even more.

With no mats as in no elrue or lix provided? No copper ores?????

She provided the LQ copper ores for me to comp up. But, yeah she wanted me to make her Xir with NOTHING.

No. I try to be nice to people. Sometimes that has gotten me into some rough situations. Like one time, this girl asked if I could decomp SBL HQ into reg. I told her yes. I spent the next 2 hours decomping mats for her.

I need to learn to pretend like I do not hear them or just pretend like I can't. But, I am the type of person that does not mind helping people out. I am just tired of people taking advantage of that.

Does that mean you made the xir?? Even I try to be nice, but I can tell people to eff off when I need to.

Well, I did not mind the girl not providing the alchemy stones. Those are no bother for me. My cleric has maxxed her fame, so I don't mind buying those. It irratated me when she told me not to lie, because she asked and I told her I would, then she tells be "Don't lie. Be honest." When I told her the conversion rate. But, I did not make the xir for her. No mats, no products. She prvodied the copper pre LQs, but when she told me she did not have the mats for the xir, I told her I could not do it.

People like that proably do not deserve to be treated nicely from you. It was selfish of her to "ask" you to make enhancing stones, not even providing anything, and accusing you for "lying". PFfff!!!?!

Just forget about her, that's the best thing you could do..

There's a thin line between being helpful, and being pushed around. Be very careful Spirit...or you might find yourself on the wrong side of that line :devil:

I just get tired of hearing everyone always mouth about the game being full of rude people. I just hope that if i am nice then maybe they will mention it to someone else or return the favor to others. Pass the niceness along. Even as full as this game is with rude people, there are some really nice ones still playing and I just want others to see that.

Wow that is too bad that happened. I have a guildie who makes them for me. Don't get me wrong. I know how to make them but if I don't have the mats, then I pay her well for her time, supplies and everything. Never could I ask her to do it for free!

Wow! I would make strangers go and get those AS for me even if its just for like a few.. (ok maybe i'll spare like 5 if that's all they need...)

I always check that they've got AS when they ask for a decomp... and often the answer I get back was "what do you think?" as if i am dumb to think that they wont provide stones LOL which is good i guess...

Also.. when people ask for decomp, I ask them how many stacks they need, and tell them upfront i only have time for 3 stacks or w/e... but that's just me.. i think my time is too precious to spend too much for strangers XD
