[WoW] 3.0 goes live today
 

so in anticipation for wotlk next month, blizzard is releasing 3.0 today. new talents, new changes to stats, all sorts of junk. Anyone else play wow? how do you feel about all the changes?

I'm mixed about it. for one, my rogue is basically dead. I just have to sit on my thumbs for a month and hope my rating is still high enough in a month (prolly wont be, 2 seasons in a row of duelist is disheartening) However i'm excited about my druid. they got some interesting changes, balance got buffed pretty good, and it seems resto has had its healing dynamics completely changed, and new is always good.

FUCKING LOVEIT! Killing spree (final combat talent) is fucking amazing.
What server do you play on?

I've heard people are saying palladins have become a bit overpowered. 3 hitting warriors in PvP.

I am enjoying the new mage talents, but since when have mages been anything to shout about?

how big is the client size and how much would subscription cost??
Ive been weary about purchasing WOW because Id rather stick to 2 MMOs
especially when WOW charges every month and I might not get around to playing it much...what do u guys sugggest?

It was a few gigs I think. WoW costs 14.99 per month, or you can buy in bulk of 3 months (13.99 per month) or 6 months (12.99 per month)

Uhm man frost mages got amazing...

Ret pallys are so fucking OP its not even funny.

Fury warriors got a bit better they can duel wield 2hders...
and there final talentry is a move that allows them to whirlwind 6 times.

WoW itself is like 5 gigs on my comp and the patch was 1.2.

Gamecards for two months are 35 bucks which is a rip and your best off buying online subscription which is what sec was saying.
You also get 1 month of free play time with purchase of the game.

The new frost talents are pretty sweet, but I can't really experience being amazing at PvP since I don't have any gear. I haven't got much time to get the honor to get the gear (I've only gotten one item, the Merciless gladiator's staff)

No gear, when everyone else is geared to the maxed=quick deaths

friends right now.. were all around 64-67 and once we hit 70 were just gunna
do arena cuz theres no point really in even getting gear before WotLK

I only just started playing WoW seriously (rl friends bugging me XD) and they made me change my healing pally into a DD pally with 2-h axe XD

It's a good thing I got them to help me with whatever I need or I would've given up again lol

Im just building up honor I guess until the expansion comes out. I heard everything is gonna cost tons more than it does now to get PvP and arena gear.

I run instances randomly, but can't run really run heroics due to my lack of gear.

And for classes other then rogues or warriors it doesnt matter what weapon u use, not like on fiesta.

LOL not really... Rogues who are assasination should use daggers or main hand dagger/sword. for combat you can choose swords (pve) or maces (pvp) as a subt rogue you want duel daggers or maces.

Wariiors want certain weps for certain specs.. ms any kind of 2h etc..

as for the other classes it really doesnt matter what weapon. Like a shaman doesnt say .. " im a fist weapon damage doer shammy" cuz theres not much dif between maces and fist weps. Yet warriors and rogues talentries go with there weapons. And dont state the obvious and say an ele shammy wont be using two maces :P Like i realise that ... This box is gunna be hard to understand i can tell cuz im stoned and dont punctuate thigns very well xD

I...I think that was in English, but none of the words meant anything. My eyes just sort of...glazed over. I've lost many friends to WoW, sadly.

I read it over and WoW players will .. somewhat understand.

Of that I have no doubt, LOL. I'm a WoW civilian, though, and as such I was totally lost. I wonder sometimes if that's why I get a lot of glazed-over looks at parties when I'm talking politics or religion or physics. Hmm.

I hope to start raiding asap, so my guild will still be top on the server.

Currently, my guild raids ZA and Kara regularly, but I've never done any raiding. Me being DPS= replaceable. My damage sucks so they would just pick someone else. So I don't even ask to come along. This is why I'm trying to get some kind of gear so that I might be able to raid at least once before wrath.

This doesn't seem likely though.

Yeah try to atleast do kara xDD But it doesn't matter much
cause the 70 raids are just gunna die like the 60 raids did when BC
came out. My gear will mean nothing... =(
