Heal S P A M !
 

I just had a great duo with a Cleric friend I met through a KQ. He's an awesome healer and has his skills set up for optimal healing capabilities. My little Mage is a full INT and +9 wand AoE'ing machine and I easily attract a lot of aggro as most of you already know. But he's right on top of everything! I can confidently run into a group of mobs and expect to come out alive. I don't even have to frantically stone or pot.

We went into Gold Hill together and just rocked that KQ. xD I had a nice Endure casted and t2 scrolls so I was tanking Marlone and the last boss. Finished the KQ in record time. :3 After that we were just AoE'ing Baby Werebears and both gained 2 levels each! It's so nice to meet someone who's new but knows how to play the game and have fun at the same time. The only down side is that he's from Australia so... late night for me when I get to party him. D: Australia has nice people, I should go there someday. :cutielove:

tell us when you come over. we'll have a welcome party for u. :D

btw, is that cleric on Epith or Teva?

Sorry, he's in Epith. I no share awesome Cleric.

Most Players are good but their equipment (EG. A Bad Connection or Mad computer) causes lots of lag o they cant heal/mock/whatever so people then think they're bad ^^

Well, actually it wasn't... lol xD You weren't spammy at all.

And in terms of bad connection etc... would be a good idea to let your party know if you're lagging. But either way this guy was laughing his head off watching some stand up comedy while I AoE'd several baby werebears so... I'd say he's pretty good. Survived falling off the chair too. *0*

To keep it more on topic:
Someone said that good clerics are usually the ones where their first character is cleric... so new cleric players.. are actually the good clerics... (maybe coz they usually start the game knowing / thinking that they will be a full support class)

That makes sense. :3 I started out as a Cleric too so does that make me a good one then? :cutielove:

But if it's your second, third character you'd think that they'd know how the class works. .___.

Are you 4x yet on your mage? Just wait till you go to abyss. I am also a full INT with a +9. I got buffed up by a cleric, put on T3 vit/shield, and I can take half (and maybe a bit more!) of the biggest room in there with an awesome cleric. This was only low 40-44.

But really I do see a lot of clerics that don't want to get into a pt, sit back, and heal.

A lot of clerics I know would be better off as fighters lol but they hate giving up that heal ability.

I call myself THE HEAL HERO so healing people doesn't irk me~ I'm full strength though, just to make those times when you solo fly by so much quicker.

And yus heal piggy. I was a heal piggy myself once upon a time. I don't mind it. I hate soloing.

Well it's like more and more people on Teva *cough* aren't the party type with anyone other than their little clique... so I've gotten to learn how to solo, or just DD while in a pt.

Duo like what Loveless found right there when/if you hit 6x will be priceless in DoA... too bad you won't last long enough because you'll be lvling in no time. XD

I have to admit the only people I ever party on my cleric are my guildies/people I know through KQs/etc. One reason is because I cbb finding a party, and another is that I don't usually talk to people I don't know (well I haven't met many that are talkative) so it's boring. :cries:

Though I have to find parties on my mage these days. Many spots where I need to complete quests in are taken by other people, so might as well party. I don't ever seem to party clerics though, partied a lot of fighters.

Something I noticed about the Kidmon // Jewel Tree quest (Lv 84~88) repeats...

It's forcing people to party.

You'll be able to see in BR, "Looking for 1 person for JT pt."

I don't see that from Lv 3x~5x at all, some during 6x for DoA, then more and more higher Lv you go. :p

Yeah, though aren't most games like that? You can solo early levels, and later on you can solo but it just makes it a whole lot easier if you party up.

Holy crap hahaha I don't think I can memorize numbers and heal at the same time D: I usually estimate and see how many hits they can take before dying.

I just know that after a long healing sessions, I'll close my eyes and see HP bars dropping everywhere.

That's when you know you're straining your eyes. Go see an eye doctor ; )

I want to play my Mage but I have to wait til he goes on so I don't leave him behind. Otherwise I really doubt I'd find an equally great Cleric. >_< If my Cleric was on a separate account and I could play two at a time I would so do that... but yeah.

I'm not 4x yet... still in my 30s but I think that if I actually play my Mage I'd already be 40 or close to it. Can't wait until the 40 Abyss cause the 30 Abyss seriously sucks. I hate that fog thing and the mobs are too floaty.

On my cleric, the only downfall is that when I look at chat, my party and I die. If I focus on party healths, I don't look at the chat especially when I'm the only cleric in party. I can't multitask. xD

Last night, there were 3 cleris in GH KQ party (including me) so I spent A LOT of time talking. Hessah was great on her fighter but she tended to go crazy (upon my request) whenever I was typing. Excellent timing. >.>

Next time, I'm gonna ask her to take off all her amour and we go cruising. :tongue:

Haha I usually just look at everyone's HP, and I know I can heal 2400//3900 so then I'll just kinda see where the limit is on the party status bars, and yeah I just got used to it...

so I know when to heal, and I use F2 F3 F4 F5 too much for anyone to think about. =/

30 abyss sucked a lot. I would take ages trying to lure a bunch of mobs together (even if I'm ranged!) and when I get feared they all go to my poor cleric. Damn ghosts.

Trouble is I'm very talkative in-game. Which is why I prefer playing fighter because I can chat while fighting most of the time. lol

yo ppl ;D , well ye i have a 74lvl mage (Aragos) playing on apoline and trying to play cleric not im kinda new with that ... got it to lvl 43 now and its really , how to say it impossible to get killed (u have healing , pot and stone ) lmao , i almost soloed Robo kq i started running the mobs and i spawned there alone , i got it till almost 10 minz left till the end of the kq and i lagged >.< ... yup i got r@ped lmao ... depends a good cleric , full supportive like full end or stuff or full str with end gears . i chose the 1st option cause u have hell of a def for your lvl , good hp , get a +9 use t1 aim scroll u kill fast too and increase all sort of healing spells at max + max dmg on attacking skills + i can give u an advice for all the ppl who play celric and dont know that u can change ( select ) the players in the pt with the F1,F2,F3,F4,F5 keys and this makes it really easy to control party's hp ... i like to work in team :cutielove::laugh:

I tried using F1, F2, F3... couldnt get use to it...

And.. i dont calculate how much HP people have and how much i heal =/ whoever has the least HP gets my first heal... whoever's more important gets my first heal... LOL

i dont know if its the wow player in me, but i feel like a nub anytime i click, so i force myself to use the f keys to pick teammates. I've played around with different keys but i'm too used to stock keys now.
