Ya people could pitch in so it wasnt just one person paying but I hope the price lowers. But think about people will be rich in gold sometime in the future which means that its 1/2 gold to buy a guild. And since nobody has really got to an extremely high level who know what the drops will npc/stall for.

I know a few people with 100+ silver atm so technically they could form the guild now if they all put their money together. But I agree I doubt there will be more than 1 or 2 because they are only being funded by treasure chest events.

There will be more because i bet the drops that you get or once your a high level the drops will npc for more which in turn will put more money into the economy.

Exactly. They get like 10 pets, but they just npc for 8silver.

guuilds aint implemented in cb only the ones gm do to test guild wars.

From the earlier chests Xir level 4 dropped selling for 80sp each. I think GM's nerfed the boxes after that however even with them I doubt many players would get more than 1 personally.

And yeah I think that Guilds have been implemented, they just cost so damn much that none have been created apart from those by GM's.

Get the 500 silver through pitching in -> Create the guild -> Implement an entrance fee to those who wants to join

Lol if the guilds are too easy to make, then there will be a lot of guilds and the "good" guilds won't be special anymore. xD Maybe it's because the economy has just started developing. Once the economy is on the run, money would be much easier to make and 500 silver wouldn't be hard to get compared to now.

I've seen someone with speed hack today or they were just major lagging and sped up to the spot they went to on their cilent.

Possible that item prices are cilent sided.

its like this...if theres no guilds at all then these so called *Good* guilds wont exist....so that means no guild wars/pvp....thus no makin a name for yourself =)

If the items where client sided only they could be only viewed with people with the same edited files as that player. E.g if I swapped the appearance of the level 1 weapon to the one of a level 80 weapon only other players who have done the same will notice.

I think it's just the boogy speed debuff that makes you go blue.

In chest events just whore Xir's level 3 sell for 14sp level 4 sell for 80.

I doubt it too, because I was thinking about starting my own guild, but then when I realized how much 500s is to me at my current state I wouldn't want to lose it all just for a guild until I got more =[

somehow people are able to make 500s by lvl 40ish..I don't know how I can't even get to 30s at lvl 34 but I'm sure the people who could pull it off are fighters and clerics...they don't need to buy stones or at least not as often as I do (archer)

when i was lvl 39 i got 160silvers! but claude and lild are always richer than me! lol =)

Most of my money goes into items and stones, the only reason i was able to buy my lvl 40 equipment was because of the increased drop rate during the 3x event. As for fighters not having to buy stones, thats wrong, i have to buy 40-70 hp stones every trip after soloing and thats alot of money when hp stones cost me 100 copper.

You train on the wrong things then :p

A solo trip only costs me about 10 HP pots and 10 MP stones

I train on the mobs that are for my repeatable quests, so obviously not the wrong mobs, I'll add that goblin captains can do 300 damage with their skill alone.

And don't even suggest not doing repeatable's as my only repeatable at the moment saves me killing 100 extra mobs each time i do the quest. When you need 500k exp to lvl you take longer trips which of course means using more stones.

Wow, Fiesta's getting more towards grind. That sucks a lot.

Sheapy: you know, the main difference between AndyB's and your trip-cost is that he's killing lvl48 mobs while you're killing lv28 mobs => he is spending a lot more stones on fighting. And his stones cost 2-3 times as much as yours. (in case you didn't know, the cost of the stones is increasing every level).


On-topic: i believe the 500s is fine. Yea, you can't create a guild on your own, but that's on purpose. Guilds are not for soloing roflmao.
If ~5 of the lvl40+s get together they could gather 500s in like 3-5 days. Most of the drops on that level are normal-quality, which can be sold to NPCs for 50-80c / each, (or when tier2 production will spread, they'll worth even more). And they kill a lot => loot a lot.

Don't forget tier 3 pots as well, they're a good money earner. ;D

On topic: 500 silver is fine, it's meant to get people to work together and it makes players take the guild they helped to create more seriously which will mean less guild hoppers early on.

Thats how we made harlequin, a group of us in the early to mid 30's, pooled our money together(i sold all my ingredients :( ) in order to create our guild.

hmm I guess so, but I don't know x.x I think the high cost helps to keep the guilds more serious than to make a mock guild. Whenever there is a famous guild there is going to be mock guilds that are named almost exactly the same as the famous guild, but if it costs 500s that will be to a minimum.

Heh maybe for the first few months but as the game grows on, 500 silver will become a common bank account for most players. Theres no doubt we'll see more guilds start up in Cb2 for people will be less hesitant because of the economy increase..

hrmm after farming so much during ExP week I think i could afford a guild almost 2 if I wanted to blow money on it. But then i must get my Mithril.;)....an copycats just suck lol...so hopefully no changes will be made to the guild price in the near future

500s for most people, for now, is a lot of money, no one wants to spend it if they don't have to. Less copycat guilds, less guilds to spam, etc. I wonder if there will be guild events, aside from GWs

well lets see here, i got 120 silver and i'm lvl 33 right now i just need 4 friends with about 100 silver to get a guild going. Once cb2 starts rolling people will be going beyond just lvl 30 and be able to get more silver.

Besides if they throw another increased exp/drop rate weekend, were in luck then.

i doubt they will. I bet they will do another 3x exp weekend before the close of CB forever to go to OB..so people can get all their names.

They might have more GM events, but 3x events aren't likely as Synelia said

During the last 3xp event didn't a few guilds form? I.E. Oblivion.

Oblivion was up a few days before I do believe. Even so, that was the only new guild I'm aware of

Only non gm-made guilds so far are Harlequin, Teva, Tachoink and Oblivion. Will probably see a few more being made in cb2.
