Promotional Emails - Hotmails
 

After the recent promotional email crap that went on, I notice that my hotmail account isn't getting any promotional emails from Outspark, dispite the fact that I've ticked everything.

Question:

Anyone here that use Hotmail, receive promotional emails from Outspark?

CSR suggested that hotmail might be blocking the mails =/

Whats strange is I just started getting them recently though and I have had my account over a year...Weird eh?

I used to get them in the start, but now I've stopped receiving them. Whenever Hotmail blocks a mail, it sends it to the spam folder, it doesn't totally block the mail, so I think it's a problem on their end.

I use hotmail and I never recieve any.

both Marketing and Promotional emails are ticked right?

I reckon its an Outspark Database side issue... hope the CSR will come back and confirm something with me.. (thought i kinda doubt it...)

Anyways, yeah I checked, I have both marketing and promotional ticked.

It's so tempting to post tarantula pics now just for KT. I know how she loves them. I use gmail and I get the mail just fine...might I suggest a switch? Google: Is there anything they can't do?

I check my hotmail much more often than my gmail... (and i already get them in gmail with my 2nd account)

but yeah if they cant find an solution i'll try a switch....

I use hotmail, and I get my promos from time to time, but thats probably because I use an in-between "agent" mail account.

Agent mail account? Like one that redirects your email for u?

I have a Hotmail account and I'm pretty sure I've gotten every single promo e-mail...

Strangely enough, no. My most recent one was Sept 26. O.o

I have 2 hotmail accounts and both get the outspark announcements.

I have gmail :/ and I'm not getting any promotional emails either...even though they're all ticked. So I guess it's just some people no matter what kind of email used?

oh ok.. I guess i'll have to wait till CSR get back to me =/

Hotmail's help thing asked me to put their emails on safe list... and i wont know if that works until they send another promo email out...

I would suggest you not share your e-mail.

CSR said i'm on their mailing list... so he suggest it's my email provider :sigh: why did i just KNOW that, that was going to be the answer...

oh well.. i can only hope that the safe list works =/

On topic: Only answer is you might have accidentally marked your outspark letters as junk so it gets sent to your junk mail, then deleted after a few days.

Nuuu i've been checking my junk everyday.. its not there..

and we couldnt have so many of us directing outspark mail to junk by accident... =/

Yeah even if a message gets sent automatically sent, you can see in the left Junk (1). Yeah even the bold font is there.

Maybe that happened to me ^_^
