Eh...
You'd think that after the new precautions taken by Outspark that the Vitality scroll scammers would have disappeared. But nope... they're still at it. :goaway:
|
>_>
|
Don't those scammers kindof fail now since the scrolls look differant ?
|
o.O yes >_>"
|
and people still buy them =/
a new wave of players doesnt know the difference and those are being scammed |
A new generation of Fiesta players are coming in, they're just now discovering it <.<
|
a new generation cleric just entered KKP and is as annoying as hell!
GET KKP STUCK!!! GET KKP STUCK!!! No sir, our tank is awesome and we don't need to get it stuck. |
If the person is too moronic to not know the differance between the two scroll icons then they deserve to be scammed.....

Agreed. |

Saying that is like advocating the scam in the first place, and saying, "Well let him go, I don't care... if someone buys it, it's their own fault." Instead, the people who even try to take advantage of a friendly-community orientated game should be punished. Greed is horrible. |
So if my son decides to pick the game up again and he does not know that they changed it and buys it thinking it is something good, he deserves it?
|
Your practically saying if your new to a game you should get scammed. If u were new to the game how would you know the difference?
|
Nobody deserves to be scammed in any way. In fact those who say "people who get scammed deserve it" are probably the first ones on the forums ranting their hearts out when it happens to them.
So to those who want to help the community... if you see a Vit[2] sale shop check immediately and report if needed. Being cheated 2g for a fake scroll is not worth it. |
they cost 2g?O.o
I have a real vit learning scroll |
I suggest you learn it and make vit scrolls for profit.

Yeah, idiots like that do deserve it. Spirit, that has no relation- now if there was a huge label saying "SECOND GAME OUT OF THE TRILOGY" on the front, then yes. It would be. Booyah, everyone has greed. |

I think Spirit has a very valid point. What the sellers are doing is wrong and they should be banned for it. |
I was kindof aiming that statement towards higher leveled players. Fair enough the scammer should still be punished, but Outspark changed the scroll Icons for a reason, to stop this.
I didnt means to say people who are new and dont udnerstand should be scammed. It was aimed more towards the experianced players who have the 2g+ to buy said scrolls (Unless ofcourse the beginner is given money by a friend or something ^^'') |

The fact is, there are kids that play this game. Kids get excited when they think they have found something that is rare and that is hard to obtain. Plus throw in the fact that they have been looking for it and kids do not always stop to analyze and think things through.
And it has everything to do with this, since this game is overflowing with kids. |
So, is that the kid's fault or the seller's?
|
Quote:
The kid For buying it and not realising the differance The seller For scamming the kid Outspark For not having something pop-up wen they start the game explaining this scam Whoever got the kid into the game Or it would never have happened The seller's parents For not teaching him not to scam =/ The list could go on and on. There is no such thing as who's fault it is. |
In the same way, the solutions could go on.
1. Stop the kid from buying it 2. Stop the scammer from selling it wrong 3. Have Outspark do something more about it 4. Blame the kid's referrer 5. Take the scammer's parents to task. There's no such thing as a right solution either. In the end, if you don't want to be scammed, it's you who's going to have to be on your guard. |

We had a Lv 70 cleric shield blue that two money lords wanted... BAD. In the end, we chose the cheaper deal because of the buyer's reputation. Not everyone is greedy. Your consistent attitude of grouping, racism, and stereotyping is annoying at this point. |
It's not just saying it's so and so's fault. If you know and recognize the scam itself then you should help to prevent scammers from returning to the game.
Knowing it's there and turning a blind eye/ignoring it... you're equally "at fault". |
Quote:
You give yourself too much credit. Pay attention and become less ignorant. |
I didn't say I'm turning a blind eye to it. I said I'm being on my guard. If I see a guy scamming, in...say...Elderine, then I'll shout that so-and-so's shop in so and so location is scamming, take care. But I repeat, that if someone buys it on an impulse or without enough caution, then he's to blame more than the scammer.
|
There's the saying "If it's seems too good to be true, it probably is."
