Okei so I thought I'd suggest another good game to anyone who's interested. It's a 2D side-scrolling MMO with anime graphics. It's very cute so well, if you're not into super cute graphics then better leave now. :P

So continuing on, the game itself is quest oriented in terms of earning Ely (game currency) and if you're lucky enough to find rare drops. You are usually able to repeat a given quest 2-3 times and that gives 5k each at the beginner stages, more when higher of course. Leveling is pretty easy in my opinion but it may also be because I'm using an AoE class.

The armour changes sets every 5 levels and doesn't look bad at all. (Guys look good too which is probably a plus)

There are a total of 4 classes to choose from in the beginning. Warrior, Knight, Wizard, and Explorer. The Warrior is your usual pure damage dealing types with raw power. Knight is your tanker class with a shield. Wizard is... well they can cast magic and heal as well. The Explorer is the archer types and the only long-range class. Within the classes you have a choice between up to 3 weapons. So a Wizard is not limited to just using a staff/wand and can equip a dagger and shield. All classes are able to equip knuckles and can switch between two weapons via tab key.

From the 4 classes (though not implemented yet) they branch into two different types at level 80. I've seen some videos on YouTube and... wow. You should go look for it cause there's too many to look at.

One of the best parts of this game is the combo system. I like having games that counts the number of chain hits... xD And it's not just numbers, the more combos you get the better the EXP gained! You're also able to chain your skills. Once you activate a skill in the same skill tree you'll see the words COMBO blink and when you cast it right then you can just keep going. Best when inside a mob and takes down mobs fast.

The game also offers enhancements via ores and puzzles. The ores fortify your equipment (if I remember correctly) and the puzzle pieces add options to your equipment. You can possibly add an option on your armor to increase your rare drop rate or fire resistance, etc.

The only downside is that the potions aren't instant heals and is like Restore. So you have to watch your HP and make sure to time it right. Erm... yeah, wall of text so just go look at the homepage. xD

Ah. So this is what my friend was talking about. I just remembered it was on OGPlanet, same as Rumble Fighter. Is this game only for US and Canada like Rumble Fighter?

My friend can't play 3D MMORPG because they hurt his eyes.

And another thing to watch out for: you can't recycle usernames. So if you created a character named "Disappear" and you delete it. You can't use that name again... so make sure you pick the right class/face/etc.

i like the fire element but earth lets you summon dragons which is also so awesome :o

huh...im getting a weird error from x-trap that shuts down LaTale
it doesn't have a real fixed point that it pops up
first time it popped up right when i was about to choose a channel
2nd time it popped up between after choosing a channel and joining it
3rd time it popped up when I got into character select screen

on the ogplanet forums other people are having problems with x-trap but i dont know if its the same one...

Some people got it to work by uninstalling and re-installing. Try running CCleaner/Anti-virus.

If all else fails try the clean boot. Go to msconfig > go to services > check Hide All Microsoft services then disable anything that's left. Restart. That'll shut down any unwanted programs.

Arrgh, i scanned my computer, removed everything that was harmful, and that didn't work so i try the config thingy and that doesnt work. =[.

I love LaTale, but I reformatted my computer, so I don't have it right now. But it's a lot better than Maple Story, imo. >_>

I'mma try downloading it. Even though PW failed epic-ly hard 19 times ;( 2 days of my life I'll never get back ;'(

Edit: after looking at the guides n stuff..I've decided I might be explorer or mage...What do you think loveless?

Yeah, try it out. It is definitely better than MapleStory, lol. This is coming from someone who spent over a year on that game too.

@Luna: Explorer and Wizards are pretty different and depends on your play style. The Wizard class has a choice of weilding a staff (duh xD) or a dagger/shield. Most recommend dagger/shield cause, well, you're a Wizard so you have pretty crappy defence to begin with and the shield will somewhat make up for it. The elements are also a tad bit complicated. I heard that it is recommended to stay within two elements, choosing one primary element cause you can only have a boost in one type at one time.

You can also either become purely attack based OR you can be a healer type. Healer types will concentrate more on the heal skills and the water element (which "empowers" healing abilities)

Explorers have a choice between bow, crossbow, knuckle, and dagger/shield. Most common are bow or crossbow. I'm playing a bow explorer and it is so much fun because I get to spam AoE. xD You could try both out and see how things go.

@UserName: I can try to divide my already installed files and upload it into a .zip and see if that works. :/ I don't if I can do it though cause it might be pretty big. Dual wield is cool... xD The Blader (Warrior 2nd class) is just... -drool-
