Well right off the bat, Imma say this...

the reason there hasn't been threads like that is because politics is a very touchy subject..and people get real defensive over wether they're for demo, repub, or the green party. Anger tends to break out when people speculate things they know about the opposing side that other ppl may like..or agree with. Wether it be true or false, Politics is something you should be careful with when you post it ;)

I hate politics.

Obama is going to win.
They just want to see a black president.

Some of my friends think it's more of the "vice presidential elections"

they say that obama is gunna be assassinated, and mcCain will have a heart attack...

When i become the legal age to vote i probably wont.

As the trend goes yeah, good presidents are shot down. I honestly do not care for politics but if you're going to be leading a country... perhaps you should start early. Not when your death bed is right around the corner.

I still don't understand how they think McCain is gunna have a heart attack..I mean seriously..his mother is 93 or 94, perfect health, can walk perfectly fine..So I'm guessing they have incredibly good genes..I don't think McCain is gunna die of a heart attack anytime soon..

But of course..bush will be put down as one of the worst presidents in U.S History.

I like how people wanna know where the pres is at all times..

like in 9/11..They evacuated the president into the air..and everyone freaked out and wanted to know where he was...then someone said all over radios and T.V's that he was at "such and such place" and thats where the 3rd plane crashed..

First thing you would WANT to do..is protect your president..(even if he's an egotistical moron). Not get him killed. (However in Bush's case, that could vary...:ninja:)

Don't some people think 9/11 is a hoax.

And i watched something about it a long time ago and remembering that they say the the officials or something told them to tear down the building or something. And they say that the way the building collapsed is the same way as if you were to tear it down or something.

Maybe we should stick to the politics and keep the 9/11 topic in the other threads where they belong >_>

Imma run this down quickly.

The world trade center was the foundation of our economy..It was designed perfectly flawless. It was made that way so it would collapse cascading like, and not just break and crush numerous people, streets away. the twin towers had alot of people internationally..so asian, japanese, russian, and all kinds of ppl were there and died.

The pentagon is a military base..and they hit that too..

The whole point was to break down our 3 strongest links..and ruin the U.S

.3 Our leader

I'm actually not so sure about who I want to vote fore =/ I like Obama's idea, but at the same time, he lacks the experience in politics. McCain... I don't like his plans but he does have experience. I actually took a quiz to see who I should vote for.

You see that i dont relly like talking about politics or anything about the Race or anything, You see its well i hate talking about it . I know there alot of topic about the politics but im not even goina start.

First, and just my opinion, but this should be in Mature Discussions to reduce spam and degradation of the topic.

I think this could be the case in this election.

IMHO, and remember, it is just my opinion, but abortion should not be a matter of politics. Politicians should stick with world politics and economic strength and let the medical world and the patients handle the issue/question of abortion. There are too many medical possibilities (physical and psychological) for politicians to just arbitrarily say it is legal or illegal. Just my opinion.


Actually, McCain's political career was started when he was 45 or so. Obama's political career was started when he was 35 or so. Sometimes politicians have to wait in the wings longer if their political party has several good (or what a majority of voters see as good) options available. That may well be part of what delayed McCain till now. He did try for the Republican nomination in 2000 but lost out to Bush. Obama is running in a time when the Democrats don't seem to have a strong camp of contenders, so he is one of those able to make it to this point at an earlier age both biologically and politically. I am not saying either made it to this point based on either being better or worse than the other, just that in a race where the process of elimination leaves one man in the end, sometimes the wrong man may have been moved up causing someone else who could/should have been in the running to back up and wait for another play.

Your vote is private, they can only stereotype you if you tell them how you vote. I have always made it a firm policy to respond to people who ask how I voted to tell them the poll is made to be a private voting process for a reason and that I prefer to keep my business as my business. Of course, that means you have to be consistent in not discussing who you voted for so people don't come back with comments about you only telling if you voted the way a majority voted. Just make it private and keep it private and they have nothing to stereotype.
