Mean Giant Honeying KQ [Teva]
 

MGH KQ... Not only do I have a score to settle with that big yellow s**t and 15 of his slaves, but I wanna finally win this KQ. And I am tired of wasting my time with idiots.

My fighter is level 50 [still 60% with quests left undone, I won't level him up yet] um, pure END with heavy STR DEX gear. I can tank even with my level 40 SnS, but it'd be better if I had a level 50 set, and I'll pack some T3s along.

I dunno what the best team for this KQ would be, thought I have so many combinations in my head. Pros out there, what is the best team for this KQ?

If I get to level 40 I'd like to try, though I'm not sure when I'm getting to 40. Can't say I can do much, but I'm full INT and is a mage looking for some good AoEing, so I think it'll be great if I could come too! I am a KQ addict, after all. Though the chances of my getting to 40 before you get to 51 is.. I'm not sure, pretty slim. Dx

It's not exactly mage friendly. I died within seconds after the stun ran out. Repeatedly.

^ So true... I just came from a kq and even an archer was able to pull aggro off of me, though I was the only tank and the other fighters wielded Zweihanders >_< can't DD tank or backup tank for sh*t lol... Mock [1] isn't 100% effective in MGH.

That's why it'd be nice if there were 2 tanks, main [me] and a second one... Hopefully high leveled and strong too, and knows how to do the kingdom quest. 3 clerics perhaps? 1st party would be me, 2nd tank, the Mage who deals most damage and is the one most likely to steal aggro and 2 clerics, 2nd party would be the 3rd cleric, probably a DD fighter and 3 other DDs? IDK I'm not so good in these, so we can just plan and plan till we come up with the best combinations.

And Blaaaahs, I still need MGH and 15 Shadow Honeyings remember? I ain't gonna level Golden soon ^.^ gotta concentrate on Sero more too...

The fighters should try to time their devastates precisely one after the other.

Yes, hopefully I'd get 2 other fighters [that's probably enough already] not only with good stats, gear and weapons, but have empowered Devastate well... Like, full CDT, full Damage and Increase Stun Effect time right? IDK nothing has to be perfect in order to succeed the KQ though lol...

It is true, but as we all know level 50 blues are much rarer than level 70 ones =\

Worth a try going for it... Though I've won like I think 5 KQs already? Plus 1 on Sero when Nei warped us higher leveled people in to help XD no blues ^^

Well, the 6x and 7x KQs were glitched to drop a lot more than they should have.

I'm level 49....... but I'm sitting on like 400k+ xp in quests right now that I haven't turned in... >.>

43 fighter with a few +9s and is end/spr. Im not playing
fiesta right now but after this robo thing i can lvl him a bit to and im down .

Level 44 mage.. 25 SPR / rest INT... random stats in gear.. LOL

+9 staff and +9 boots... i can scroll up T3.. and spam my magic pots away...

I didnt die last time i AOE the heck in there.. (had a few close ones.. but.. managed to stay alive)

Nice, nice ^^ so you can be 2nd tank probably, with me as main. I'm pure END with pure STR DEX gear, STR DEX SPR shield and STR END 1h, when I get em both to +7 everything will go smooth ^^

Coookies (dynamics) is a 37 cleric atm~ But I think he'll get to 40 pretty quickly. We'll probably need two clerics to be safe, right? xD He can be the second cleric~

I think we only need one cleric per party, really. Ukly did it with only Angel as cleric. I think we can do it with 2, just prepare some pots~

At least 1 cleric a party, then we'll have 2 clerics a party. Not enough room for any more mages/archers, which we really need to kill the stuff.

Yeah, the KQ can go pretty well with only 2 clerics. 1 for the tanker's party, 1 for the 2nd tank's party, then distribute DPSs everywhere... I think? I need a pro to be the party organizer XD

Anyways, Ralath is 48 so no problem with him. If Dyna can get to 41, that'd be nice too. [41 is new party buffs and rejuvenate level].

So we got 6 people so far, 4 more ^^

Ohhh sorry i mistaken that its a 2nd cleric in the whole KQ... rather than 2nd cleric in a party.... :sigh: i should've known...

- tanker 1
- cleric 1

Party B:
- tanker 2
- cleric 2
- dders/dpsers

The obvious organisation? LOL!

And maybe we should organise the parties so the people who needs Honeying Kill to be in it, haha. Usually "boss parties" don't work, but if we organise it now, then we can have the other party back off before honeying dies.

If everyone needs it, then we'll do it twice and take turns!

I need the MGH kill [done with Shadows], and I'm 95%... And being the tanker I dun think I won't gain 5% out of the whole kq, unless maybe I get only up to 99% and then I buy Vamp. Strike, level in kq then make it my last and best honeying kq? XD

So yeah, let the higher leveled people who needs MGH get the kill first since the lower leveled ones have more time to get it ^^

And yeah... 4 more people, archers and mages, or mages or w/e XD

1 more fighter will be okay, but just ONE... And must be a DD, you know like those who carry big axes and go boom boom XD for extra deva but... Yeah need DDs!!! =D

Ideally we dont need 3 clerics in the KQ... just 1 for each party should be plenty...

Wait, what do you mean done with shadows? So you haven't or have got the kill yet? And yeah, I also reckon to let the higher levels get the kill first~

The quest MGH 3 needs 15 Shadow kills, and the MGH kill. I got the Shadows, but not the MGH. Other people in the KQs I've won wouldn't let me have it, even if I was already level 50 and 8x~9x% >_> psh, greedy~

But even if I had the MGH kill already, I'd still go through with this thing, I wanna see how good I can do ^^

Yup, just that Party B is the more or less "MC party". Like when the MT goes pull a big mob, and usually there are some monsters in the mob that go back for the cleric, or stop chasing MT... Tank B will scoop em all up, go and stay beside Tank A and go... Bam Bam, Rawr Rawr? =D
