I'm finding failing Robo KQs fun.
 

Srsly. I wasn't sure whether I should put this here or in all the glory. But since we ended up failing, I'll put it in all the rage.

What is with clerics? I'm pretty sure I had known better when I was back in my 3x on my cleric. Alright, two specific cleric did their healing job alright, but they were in the same party and they were the only two clerics. I had asked them to split up and share the clerics around, so they can heal more people easily. But, they didn't say anything and they didn't try either. They're probably good clerics in a party itself, but they aren't the best when it comes to team work with the rest of the KQ.

Several of us (mages and archers) kept asking them to split up. We needed their heals, srsly. We could pot and stone a few times, but that can't keep us alive for long even if we tried because of the cool downs. Then this mage said "I think the clerics are better off in the same party so they can't cover each other".

I was silently raging at this point. Sure, the two clerics can cover each other, but they're also not covering 9-10 other people left in the KQ. Then, I realised the mage who said that was in the party of two clerics. Ah, stuff that mage then.

Then this fighter (who wasn't in the clerics party) told us to "just cope". Uh, ok. We argued back saying that we can't keep ourselves alive when we take aggro. He/she said "don't take aggro then". So this mage and I said at the same time "so we'll sit back and do nothing? k". LOL. He told us to use MM1, but um, ok. Like we'll kill anything at that rate. So the knights spawned. We sat back for like, 3 seconds, and oh gawd, it was brilliant to watch everyone just drop after the mobs spawned. (main reason why I was tempted to put this in all the glory LOL) It felt like we had total control of the KQ when we stopped shooting or something, LOL.

But, we didn't want to give up on the KQ just for that one stupid fighter, so we jumped in again and started killing. KQ back under control. Well, a bit more control. Still a number of casualties. :smarty:

Then the fighter kept saying "cure pls cure pls". I couldn't help myself but keep retorting back "just cope, just cope". LOL. Sigh~

Eventually, we killed off all the mobs up to the zombies, but we failed (predictably) towards the end. Ah well~ I hope the clerics had learnt something from it though, or try and split up in their next KQ. I've met so many clerics that refuses to split up in Robo (though I have also met a fair share of brilliant clerics). It's just, boo~

also fighters need to mock/deva more
I'm a 25spr rest int mage with int armor and rings
5% crit on wand + 5% crit from free stats +1% crit from earring = crit on 1-2 mobs in a group of at least 5 80% of the time when using magic burst
high damage + crit + squishy mage = all aggro comes onto me = dead mage before clerics can say "imp"
lol everybody except the mages in KQ really thing that clerics can keep up with that
I have like 760hp and there are 10+ mobs on me who do at least 120 damage xp

Also it seems that mages are always last pick. Everyone wants fighters and clerics. I have been kicked out of a party before just for being a mage, and there have been clerics who hate us mages because were squishy.:goaway: hey, were easier to heal to full since we don't have that much hp:sigh:

also there's with the greed thing, everybody wants the Robo kill so no one runs; thus, havoc breaks lose. No one gets Robo kill...good job...:goaway:

The prizes I've been getting are blargh also
so many just T2 hp pots x( I have like 3 stacks of them and a barely use pots

Like I've been saying for the last bajillion months... Robo needs better rewards for the mental stress we have to go through just to succeed it. Seriously. 3HP pots don't even make up for how much I used in there running my ass off. D<
Krash you should've done Robo with me. I was the best tank/runner if I say so myself. :cutielove:

Anyway, Blahs and her funny stories. I can only relate having the same problem and y'know what? They won't learn. They will always team up together thinking that they'd win. I'd like to see two Clerics duo Robo and win... pfft. I've sat back too cause I wasn't getting healed one time. Complete massacre. Funniest thing evar.

Sometimes I think this entire community of FF should become Clerics. We can then rule the world and make Fiesta a better place. =)

Bleh who am I kidding...Us becoming Clerics = Inflation in cleric goods = badness = can't afford = gear not up to date = bad cleric = bad party = bad kq = world goes into mass chaos = we end up being hated in the long run

Robo Clerics drives me mad... the ratio of Good cleric Vs Bad Cleric is about 1:10

Most of the time.. the clerics are just very slooooooooooow... I'm a 25SPR, rest INT, +9 wand lvl 42 mage... so i draw aggro like mad... I dont AOE unless i see that fighters are tanking.. and even when they mock... i pull 2-3 mobs off them with my dmg..

I totally do my part and i scroll up T3 Vit and Def scrolls 80% of the time.. (giving me 1800HP) yet... (if i dont scroll then i play very carefully..) unless the cleric in my party is alert.. i hardly ever get any heal...

I know its hard playing a cleric.. I've played a cleric for an entire year... but.. seriously i wasnt THAT slow......

I think I'm just slowly levelling my cleric. lol

Still enjoying Mara and Gold Hill. :laugh:

I've noticed that the Clerics are slow as well. Heal itself is a bit slow now too but c'mon... it can't just be my computer lagging. I'm in a party with another Cleric and I have to Heal him/her. What is up with that?! They're fighting the mobs... and their HP is going 50%... 25%... 10%... why aren't you healing yourself?? You're a Cleric who can Heal. :zomg:

I can't wait til I get myself to 33... Robo is going to be oh-so-fun. -___- -plans to finish quests and just leave-

Ugh, I hate clerics like that too. I haven't partied many that does that, but I have experienced it once or twice. At first, I didn't realise they were clerics (this was before the patch where icons were not F/C/A/M), and I kept healing them. Then I looked and realised they were clerics. Wth. I was annoyed because the other 3 in the party were taking hits too. So I just healed the other 3, and didn't heal the cleric a single time. I'm not gonna be spending my SP on him if he's not spending it on the rest of the party. He does heal himself, RIGHT before he dies. >_>"

ok my fighter is 40, mage is 41, i am pretty much forced to run to save the KQ from utter destruction(luckily my last 1 i ran, i didnt die once, i was hauling like 80% of mobs too), they yanked robo away(for kill obviously), i ws still running as they were picking off the mobs, every go around i yanked robos mob spawn and still survived:cutielove: i was shocked i didnt lag and die :err:, but ya, some clerics do need to be shared, and people need to co-op better for success, i.e. GET ROBO OUT OF YOUR HEADS! IT RUINS THE KQ:hulksmash: ok im good now

may I ask if you were running with a speed buff scroll?!?!

Mob training without a speed scroll = instant suicide.

i'm just trying to find someone other than me that use a speed buff scroll nowadays :sad:

haha ya i picked up 6 t3 speeds off the ground o.o plus someone gave away a t3 evasion, and t3 def, that was a fun kq lol, plus i had a cleric support ^^ it was a very good kq, one of the best (in my experience):cutielove:

Robo's have deteriorated ten fold ever since the 90k robo-kill quest was re-released. I seriously rage at people demanding they "need robo badly" and sacrificing the entire KQ (generally by forcing robo to spawn mobs at bad times).

People aren't measuring themselves up properly either. People with 2k health are whining about being incapable of "running." Which brings me to another point, there hasn't been one KQ for me where the group hasn't argued over who's running. Honestly, I'd rather these people just let the mobs choose for them and stop being so indecisive. A real bugger for me.

Robo just doesn't feel the same anymore, it's just a selfish race to finish those shutian quests ASAP and then abandon the KQ altogether for other more exp-productive activities. Teamwork has suddenly become meaningless now that 90k exp is on the table.

These are the people who'll playing in the 7x in a month or two =)

Well that's happening in Spider too isnt it?!

ppl spawn all the spiders regardless of how many tanks/mage/clerics we've got... (sry archers...)

the difference is.. we've got 8 hearts in spiders...

I find it stupid that ppl desinate runners too... if u get chased then u're the runner! simple enough?
