Apprentices/Masters
 
If the master is off-line and the apprentice spends money at a NPC, does the master still get the money?

After testing this with Lady Raine & Spirit of Wind we have confirmed that you do not get money from what your apprentice spends when you are not logged in.

*thinks maybe I should collect apprentices and just shroom up in an out-of-the-way place and afk when not actively playing*

can some1 please explain the apprentice/master system to me please?

i know so far that if the master is online and the apprentice spends money the master gets somin like 10% of what they spend.

also i know that if the apprentice come within 10 lvls of the master the master/apprentice relationship cancels e.g. master: lvl60 apprentice: lvl51= master/apprentice relationship cancel.

is this all there is to it or am i missing something?:confused:

Okay, the master get 10% of whatever the apprentice spends.

The apprentice gets prizes when they turn level 10, 20, 30, 40. I don't think it's 50, 60 ,70, etc. though.

This is basically a very good way to help noobs.

Fullback, resol, and Fighterboy have masters, and they're above 50.

Well, I don't think you will get prizes if you're above 50, but you really shouldn't be an apprentice at 50 or higher, just so that you can have Apprentices and get money. You won't get any prizes in 50 anyway, so what's the point of being an Apprentice?

^ What's the loss though? I'm level 60 and I'm my sister's apprentice. I may not get prizes but she gets money off all the NPC-shopping I do so... no loss, and a bit of benefits, in fact.

Hmm, so if the Master happened to return all the money he received from the Apprentices spending (the 10% off everything) does that effectively make for a 90% discount off everything?
