Frost Nova
 

I'm quite happy that it does what its supposed to, somewhat helpful in the KKP, and its nice that they fixed that.

That, and I like slowing things, because its fun, espicially players, I can think of all sorts of dumb war applications xD

Yeah, it does the same speed reduce as the IceBolt/blast now. >:D

Yeah, I noticed that the moment I logged on and used Frost Nova. I've also noticed that Frost Nova doesn't bug like it used to where the animation would keep going even after Frost Nova had ended. Of course, it's still useless for anything but AoEing.

Yeah, ask a Cleric how useless AoEing is.

LOL!!! Man, a Cleric needs a AoE attacking move...

AoE for a Cleric would imbalance the game more than it already is. We seriously don't need any more who don't know how to do their damn job. Add in AoE and they'll start thinking their Mages. Pfft.

On topic, I want to use Frost Nova but I can't get my Mage past 30. I guess I'm not meant to play a paper class. >< But I sort of envy the damage... and now the slowness. Slowness seems to be... not needed though cause the mobs are dead long before they can even think about moving. xD

Well, I guess not all classes have to have AoE... Whatever, I keep comparing this game to FlyFF, and their Cleric (called an Assist for those who don't know) gets AoE before everyone else. Oh well, this game isn't FlyFF, so I got to deal with it...


Man, this makes me feel like getting a mage... I want AoE!! But I hate how Mages have low HP and Defense...I'm not good with that, I'm more of a defense guy. I already die a lot from my mage in Epith, although I only played with him for one day...

I certainly wasn't advocating an AoE for Clerics, but to casually dismiss a skill as useless except for AoE I think misses the point. It would be like a Cleric saying "Yeah, but its useless except for healing." Well, that's sort of the point, isn't it?

Technically, it isn't a skill. It's a spell. Secondly, I merely meant that it serves no purpose in PvP unless you manage to catch your opponent in their mushroom. But that's just dishonorable. Yeah, I have heard several clerics complain about not having an AoE attack.

If Outspark were to give them an AoE attack, every other class would be absolutely useless as clerics can already tank just as well as fighters (if not better sometimes) and they can heal themselves among other things.

A mage is the hardest class to play in any game, provided that you actually start off with a mage. The end results are usually always worth it though but the vast amount of work one must put into a mage is rather discouraging to some especially since we tend to die quite often.

Out of all the games i've played and out of all the spells I have ever cast, I must say, Frost Nova is by far my favorite. And even though I pretty much had to solo everything, it was well worth it to be able to finally cast Frost Nova.
