is THIS against the rules?
 

abyssmal cave. level 20-29 one. i get in there and i'm being attacked right away (i'm standing next to the guard when you first enter - that area). whatever, it's PvP area and i do understand that that stuff happens in there. well, i tried to attack the person back, and i died...... they were stronger, good for them.

so since i died, i'm back standing next to the guard, with half HP (of course), so i went into a house in the corner behind that tent, away from everyone. i was attacked while resting to get my HP up and i died. that happened 4 times in a row. finally i got upset and asked if they could stop attacking me and they didn't. then i said i was resting and to not attack while resting.... that's like being unarmed and stuff. STILL BEING ATTACKED. this went on for a good 12 minutes before i could get out of there


i felt harassed. yes, i know it's a PvP place and all that, which is fine...... but kick somene's butt like twice, three times, show that you're strong and move on. i was RESTING to get my HP up..........

anything i can do about this..................... or just let it go??

Next time it happens, screen everything, the chat, the characters attacking you (make sure you don't edit the screens in any way, not even crop), and then report it to Fiesta_Help on the forums. Make sure you screen yourself asking them to stop as well.

It is harassment even if it's a PvP area, especially when you have asked them to stop.

It may be rude but it is a free PvP area. So long as it isn't real harassment (persistent comments, whispers, training etc.) which you can all screen and report, there's not much to do.


^there was something like this on the officials before. They said that as long as it isn't too out of hand, that they won't intervene.

I thought it's still considered as harassment, like the guild wars. D:



But anyway, I guess it doesn't hurt to try. But normally I'd just ignore and go do something else and come back later. D:

I get teamed on constantly while i am soloing.
So dare comes on his fighter and sometimes sepi
on his cleric but if your having problems in there pm me.
cuz me and dare basically run it. If u want proof i have SS ; )

There are a lot of strange people that you can run into in the Abyss. A certain cleric refused to party me because I had a female character. Yep.

Ah, 20-29 Abyss...

Yep, many people are like that in the abyss, not in the 30-39 Abyss though because that never happens to me...

Yeah, I hate the people fighting there, I mean you're not getting any exp from killing people so why do that? Yeah, I've had some problems... I've had some good times though, like I remembering partying with a level 31 archer. Yes, level 31 cleric in the 20-29 Abyss, that person was grinding even after level 30 in the abyss... Yeah, the people in 20-29 Abyss are really bad. One of my friends just quit the Abyss and went to other maps.

Also, if you want to level fast, you should duo with a mage, while you keep healing the mage. I leveled pretty fast when I do that. Just hope you get a smart mage though.

Also remember sometimes you're walking past a mage that has a bunch of mobs, and they somehow attack you without you noticing it. Just keep moving because that's AOE and they hit you by accident.

Then, of course, there are the jackass mages that will remove a buff just because they're jackasses, then run away. My memory is long, and my vengence cold.

my GUESS is that you can report them for harrassing you by preventing you from leaving the map...

but not for killing you... as PVP rules are almost non-existant in abyss... but if they refused to let you leave... i should imagine that's harrassment... the only thing u can do is screen them and see if Fiesta_Help will do anything about it...

Chances are they wont do anything unless they received 3-4 reports about the same person...

Yeah i was happily soloing in 3x abyss.. and this mage came and purge my scroll... "to test my new skill"... :angry: i got so mad i told him off and left

lucky i didnt hv a T3 scroll on... but i freak now each time a mage comes closer to me...

They unfortunately, cannot make rules against jackassery =/


Much like real life no? Especially bad when they hide behind terrain and wipe/steal your buffs.


I do love myself a Mage with Shield-Block Buff though <3

oh yeah.. i didnt expect them to do anything about jackasses... i just hate running into one...

i choose to avoid them.. i went straight out of the abyss map...

and got myself the purge skill that i didnt think i need :devil:

Eh, I don't think we need rules about jackassery. Let them show their true colors. Just makes it easier later to know who to kill when you see them.

I remember hearing about this one person guild warring against a guy who killed him in abyss... Maybe you can do that...?

Didn't literally mean they should make rules, but I guess I phrased it badly.


That would be awfully tough to enforce, what with constant reports and in-fighting o_o

I imagine they get flooded with stuff like that, anyway. "Waah, they GW'd me and killed me!" and the like.

i repoted anyway. Fiesta Help told me it's a PvP area and pretty much that i'm S.O.L. i'm avoiding the abyss

tbh in the abyss (all lvls) they should get rid of it being PvP....they invented FBZ 1,2,3 for PvPing...my fighter got attacked and killed all the time after i used T2 scrolls and pulling huge mobs...i didnt steal their mobs n they all teamed on me T_T....but just go there later when they arnt there and lvl ur ass off n next time u seem em....repay them :P

so, being brave.......... i went in to the abyss. no one was around. so i made my way through, killing mobs and moving deeper in. well, to save up on stones, i rested. well, outta nowhere these people came alone started attacking everyone else. by the time i realized what was going on, i was being attacked WHILE RESTING! i tried to fight back, but i could clearly see he was stronger than i am. i ran outta there as fast as i could. luckyly i made it out

i whispered him, WTF man. and he wrote back "killing people is fun, that's why i do it."



maybe i don't understand the concept of PvP........ but like, attacking someone while resting just seems f**ked up in my opinion........




if i see a lot of people in the abyss, i'm high-tailing it outta there! end. of. story.

Where's that, in 20-29 abyss or 30-39 abyss?

In the 20-29 abyss, lots of people will fight for the huge room all to themselves. DAREboy's alt, which I think he doesn't use anymore, once fought a party of 3 and defeated them all just so he can have the huge room to himself.

Amen! PvP in Abyss is annoying. I had a buff and t3 scrolls and two parties decided to take me on just because they thought "I think I am invincible". They killed me because of 3 mages and 2 archers dealt so much damage while I was either stunned or just trying to kill the monsters attacking me...:sigh:

Mr. Kirby, In almost all Abyss zones people will kill anyone ultimately for a room no matter the level area. I have seen it in the level 40~49 zone and the level 30~39 zone. People wants are greedy and they seem to enjoy the fact of putting pain on others...I don't mind people playing video games to relieve stress but Fiesta wasn't made for random anger bursts to be fulfilled. :goaway: If someone wants to do that then just go get some mindless shooting game with lots of blood and explosions.

Melissa my recommendation to you is to stay away from the abyss if your just soloing. If you have a party or form a party then go into the abyss then usually it is so much more fun and easier. Numbers in a party really can deter someone from attacking you. Thaz just my 2 cents.

i wouldn't mind, like, if i was standing there, all ready to be attacked and someone came up and attacked me and i lost. fine, no bigge.... i can accept that there are people who are stronger than me in the game (and more leveled up). but like, defeat someone once and move on....... ya know!! the repeated attacks and being attacked while in a mushroom resting is just RIDICULOUS!!!

and i hate wasting buffs and scrolls.... like to use them and then be killed 5 minutes later. huge waste
