Yay! I officially rest my case for MD.
 

Finally, I had a go at tanking throughout most of the KQ without people rejecting me as a clanker. Unfortunately, this also meant my party got almost no heals from me throughout the KQ when I couldn't move around with MD (sorry Derr/Esen/a.L/Brien!).


Anyway. Through the first two bosses (I think), another mage (SuperGate) had also tanked because he drew the aggro more than I did. I started doing the tanking for Robo, and surprisingly enough, I didn't get fear one single time. :err: I think that's also why I continuously got feared by MD at one point. T____T

Tanking Robo and GGK went through like a breeze. Don't think there were many casualties.

MD was an ass though. Feared me a lot, and when I lost aggro, it just roamed around killing everyone. By the time I got unfeared, about 80% of the people were dead, and the time it took for me to get aggro back allowed the MD to kill off the rest, LOL! Thankfully everyone had enough hearts/other (2?) clerics were still alive so we eventually got back on track, though I had lost all my hearts in this process (I blame those mobs T_T!) because there were not time for me to wait around to get revived.

I decided that I will run off to the side when werebears spawn so I won't get hit, but trust me to click an inaccessible area, :goaway:!! I wasn't sure what to do, since it was too late to run, and running might cause the MD to change positions and AoE everyone. So I decided to invince myself thinking "HA! Trying to team me with werebears eh?"


Then my invince disappeared as soon as I casted it.

So I sat there, almost breaking my 'q', '3', '5' and '6' key (Heal, Rejuv, Recover respectively). But, I died, and didn't make it for the exp and chest. :cries:

But oh wells, I'm happy that I got my chance to be the clanker! I think I'm gonna stop MDing so much now, probably just go in it to help my guildies complete the quests maybe.

Random question: Do hp/sp pots not work in KQ's anymore? I remember having lots of difficulty trying to use one. I remember once that I managed to use it, but it seems so hard. Dx

LOL damn straight. I was surprised you even survived the hit. Too bad my invincible was on CD, or you could've tanked it for like 20 seconds. 1337!

I felt safer in that KQ than this one where MD just moved from one DDer to the next often enough to make me too scared to spam skills... It was almost like there was no tank... @_@ I think that was yesterday...? /shrugs

Pots work just fine. o-o If it didn't I would've missed out on the chest and exp too.

Don't worry you'll have more chances to clank in Spider cause the babehs love you.

Noooo I don't want to tank in Spider~~ I hate spiders T___T let alone allow them to touch me :x

But atm I can't Spider properly because the lag kills meh. It's like, all nice and peaceful, then mobs spawn, and its FN FN RECOVER FN FN MIST FN RECOVER FN FN FN FN FN BLAHS DIE FROM LAGG!!

I haven't, actually, but I don't really want to, I love seeing the sparkles and blings even if it makes my game run at 5 fps. I'm really picky about graphics, and always want things on the highest quality LOL. XD
