Repeatable quests

Does anyone know how many times you can do a repeatable quest until it is no longer repeatable?

I have a plan on getting to level 60 from 52 as quickly as possible but it involves doing the level 51 and 52 repeatable quests many times. So this information would help me in knowing if my plan is fail before I even start it.

thanks,

Usually about 10 times, and I think it also depends on your level. I got the lizard knight quest at 77(I think), could only do it 10 times, I don't think I did it 10 times... but I couldn't do it anymore at 79. Or I got lucky and the 10th time was the one that coincidentally leveled me lol.

most(or all?) of the repeatable quests can only be done until you reach your next level...

meaning, level 51 repeatable quests can only be done on level 51...

gawd i hate typing in the morning...

does this make sense master? lol

Manzcar 08-18-2008 04:36 PM

but I can do the level 51 repeatable now and I'm level 52.

check if its the last time you can do it...just read yos post, prolly you leveled while doing the last lvl 51 repeatable quest?

I thought it was two levels.

Correct. Usually when you have attained two levels or more beyond the quest beginning level, it is no longer attainable.

However, some quests are programmed beyond that. For instance, whereas the Lizardman Knight Claw quest might be programmed at 77-79, I know of others that are programmed as, say, 76-83.

The herb quest at 27 or 28 goes across several levels, but that one seems to be the longest I recall any spanning.

I remember the Vamp/Vivi Quest going to 53 i think, It was so boring
But it was the easiest way to level

Uh, not so. There are quite many quests that can be started at 2 levels only, and most quests stretch to more than 3. A fantastic chisel, the Lv 52 repeatable quest, can only be started at Lv 52. There you go.

If you're going to refer to the Wiki, you might as well mention it in your post!

I'll clarify the issue for anyone interested. Whether you can obtain a 'Quest Start' depends on just two things: your level, and prerequisites. In most cases the prerequisites are previous quests, maybe in the same series, maybe not (by name). Sometimes you may need to obtain a drop first (like Tonic for the Sick Ogre). It has nothing to do with how many times you repeated the quest.

Also, there is no hard-and-fast rule regarding how many levels later on you can still get the 'Quest Start'. This level range varies unpredictably for normal quests, but is 3 for most repeatable quests. Contrary to what Triumph stated before, the Monster Collector 2 repeatable quest is up to 78 only. This is in the Wiki, do refer to it.

For Manzcar: I'll update the repeatable quests for levels 52 to 60. Look at the wiki later.

Actually it depends on the level... But as you level higher, I dun think there are anymore repeatable quests like the "Purging the Moonlight Tomb" quest which goes from 33~35/36 :cheeky:

Like the Bright Golden Bat tail hair quest, it can be done only once... Even if it says repeatable :cheeky: cause of the reward...

(Read my previous post) No, it doesn't depend on the level, it depends on how the developers felt when they made up the quests. I can confirm for you that there are repeatable quests later on. I find it totally random, actually, and the specific details are available. Look into the Wiki for more details.

If that's the way it works, I'd submit quests, grind the small amount to 99% then take the repeatable quests again.

Submit them the next level.

Hessah 08-18-2008 11:15 PM

It depends on the quest itself.

MOST repeatable quest can only be repeated, if you're at the correct level at the time of picking up the quest.

E.g. Lizardman mud quest (L68) cannot be "accepted" again in L69.

Greenkies quest can be repeated from lvl 65 - 67.

There's no "set rules" (not as far as I see). But if there's a repeatable quest FOR YOUR LEVEL, it is garantee that you can repeat it as many time as you can WITHIN that level. Whether it goes into the next level, will depend on the quest.

Yes you can do that! I didnt submit my last Lizardman mud quest till lvl 70. It just means when I hand it in, I dont have the option to pick it up again.

Icy 08-18-2008 11:25 PM

Ahem. Specific levels for Quest start are listed for many high level quests in the wiki. There's no need to generalise things anymore >.>

Hessah 08-18-2008 11:31 PM

Yeah so we gotta start looking into the quest start for lower level quest now?

I'll add them gradually, since Triumph dumped the information with me and refuses to get to work himself. A tad bit boring, I must say

So, exactly when do the smelting quests go away? Are are they some sort of permabug? Or is it just me? I'm level 61 and they're still there.

Also, I love to see threads with Icy and Triumph. They're like an old married couple.

Ahem. Excuse me.

If you have already made a start on the quest, they remain. If you abandon them, you will find that you cannot acquire them ever again. There are just a few quests that are of the xxx level and onward type, meaning you can start the quest at any level after the xxx.

You have entered college. I have not.

Therefore, you have time, whereas I spend my time perfecting college admissions essays. :cutielove:

lamchopz 08-19-2008 02:27 AM

All the best, Triumph.

Triumph 08-19-2008 02:30 AM

Lol, thanks.

I wrote my personal statement in one brief evening session, and made no adjustment to it since. Worked pretty well. Don't over do it

I am busier than you are. No excuse from you. You spent long enough getting knife kills without dying.

Ralath 08-19-2008 02:33 AM

*sigh* College essays.... :sigh:

I turned in one set of applications 15 minutes before they were due. Hah. And the server kept crashing on me too. T_T....

Haha! That is exactly what I thought too!
