Hai, uh new to the forums, but read alot of posts, felt like ranting:goaway:

The controversy for archers..It's pathetic..

1.) The bow vs. crossbow~
I don't understand why people still linger on this subject, it's a simple answer and people think it's more in-depth than it really needs to be:
Crossbow ~ Spamming skills, no regards to sp pool
Bow ~ Using skills in moderation , combined with fast attack rate, many regards to the sp pool.

2.) We're not valuable to be a main priority of Outspark
Archers..they truly don't get a break. I mean in the next patch clerics get a new skill. What do we get? Nothing. People always post about having an entangle skill on the official forums, but chances are, it won't get thought of until maybe 2012 when doomsday approaches(yet another time :goaway:)
If all the other classes are more important, why bother having an archer class? Everyone says we're broken anyways. If we're broken, fix us so everyone will stop complaining and then the world can be balanced :sigh:

3.) Rude comments?
I've had 3 people today, say I was a stupid noob; all because my build wasn't what they considered to be "the correct" archer. What's wrong with pure dex? I don't see YOU playing an archer, go get your head out of your [insert bad word here that relates to the tushie]. :sigh: Many people don't realize it's easy to be an archer, however take it all out of perspective when they're compared to mages, as being inferior for our lack of AOE in parties. Like..seriously..If you have nothing nice to say, keep your mouth shut.

(Sorry if none of the above makes sense, have a headache and feel like crying over recent events. Deal with it :goaway:)

Archer's still rock in PvP. At least there's that. And they're not as 'broken' as most people say, just tired of still hearing it all this time.



Yeah, over and done with.


I really do think that Outspark is keeping this in their minds. Why would they 'let' an issue persist that obviously makes users unhappy, drives away business and makes an entire faction of a community into repetitive parodies? Then again, the coding for quests which is/was a very fixable problem is only getting a real overhaul a little time from now.

I really do get the impression that they're 'trying' what they can, making too radical a change can do more harm than good. And about the new skills thing. Having one class be subject of the majority of complaints is no reason to bind the hands of all the other classes.



If it was that simple, I'd think we'd already be fixed.



I think that's less a problem of your class and more of the person/s who made the comments. Just play your character your own way and disregard comments like that.

Ehehe... the Archer issue always keeps coming back. xD

Back when I was an Archer I probably had the lowest damage in the group cause I was a DEX Archer too. But y'know what? I didn't care cause I was sure as heck able to keep aggro on MD and live through it too. Not to mention able to solo just as well as the the next Archer who went full STR. ;) And like lvra said forget about those rude players as they're not going to change. Be the bigger person and just ignore it. As long as you're having fun playing your character the way you want... everything else really doesn't matter.

Heck if you wanted you can play a full STR Mage if it's your thing. xD Seriously, might as well do that with all the godly STR Mage equip the mobs drop these days.

I suppose you're right, but have you noticed Outspark cares more about cash shop than altering quest bugs, or dealing with archer issues, etc etc. I mean..I joined not too long ago and like..BAM Remi's rare finds.. BAM bargain bin..BAM wedding pre-sale.

Then you got, BAM more angry archers!
and BAM a newer generation with an IQ lower than 20
(sorry..been watchin Emril live..BAM) XDD

Anyways If everything worked right, and people stopped asking stupid questions, we'd have an intelligent community on Fiesta :goaway:

Not to say you can't find a glimmer of hope on the official forums, but it tends to get buried under the deluge of "lololololoolols," quadruple-posting, and siggys the size of your desktop.

I believe Outspark did say something about them having greater control over the Cash Shop as it was directly managed by them, but they have to depend on the Korean developers to get fixes for bugs, glitches and other random Mish-Mash.

Anyway, the whole thing about the Archers. Every 'fix' will come in due time. As a matter of fact I don't think that class is as bad as everyone says it is. Of course they're going to have less damage than the Mage. Mages have always been the strongest in terms of damage dealt. You can go play any game and it'll be the same. The real problem lies within the players, namely those who are being jerks and saying that Archers (or any class for that matter) "sucks" because you don't have a build like everyone else and because you don't have a +9 maxed out STR/END weapon.

I just don't understand how people have the mental capacity, or atleast the audacity to insult an archer when they've never played it beyond creating the character. It kind of agitates me :goaway:

That's really nothing new though. A lot of those who put another person down for whatever the reason have no idea what it feels to be that other person. Unfortunately that's how things work. But that's also why you're here and not at the official forums ranting. ;)

I think that being an Archer and a DEX based one for that deserves a pat on the back. It's definitely not easy being one.

The only problem I have with archers, and it is not all archers, just one in particular, is he NEVER stays still. I can't keep up with his arse to keep him healed!!!!!! And you know who you are!!!!! I love having an archer in my party. There is something about seeing all those mobs turn green that makes me smile.

personaly, archer isnt one of my fav classes to play, but to people who do like archer, they are very very handy, especialy in certain tight spots, because of there condition causing skills :laugh:
