Actually, no I wasn't. But that is neither here nor there. I know I am not some stupid female and that is good enough for me. However, apparently some of our regular members did find it inappropriate and after discussion, so did the mods/admins. It is not appropriate for these forums.

The fact that it came off www.collegehumor.com should say enough about the quality of the content.

Oh, please. One can have respect for women and still find something like that funny. Its called humour. Satire. The guy was, in effect, making FUN of all of those stereotypes.

Personally, I didn't find it offensive at all, it's just some more 'guy' humor thats all over the internet.The thread said 'guys only' so I defanitly knew it was something along these lines! LOL. Just because that video was posted, dosent mean that person sees girls in that way...however, it might be offensive to others...which is what you always have to keep in mind.

In the past these sort of "guy humour" as you call it weren't welcome here and that fact was made clear before as well. If it was allowed this time and not the other, the forum rules aren't consistent now is it? It just doesn't have a place on these forums that's all.

If enough people find it to be offensive or inappropriate then it obviously does not belong. You want to see it you can just PM each other to find out or just search for it yourself. There's a million other forums that may allow it so go post there. I don't find it offensive per se but it's definitely inappropriate.

I can understand it not being allowed on here, there's a general teen friendly vibe about this place. I can also see why someone wouldn't find this particularly funny. I just can't understand how someone can get "offended" by it. If something as mild as that actually offends someone, they need to get thicker skin. Seriously.

I seriously doubt you can have any sort of mature discussion about that video as it is far from being mature.

Thicker skin or not it doesn't matter. The video as funny as it may have been to some it just didn't have a place in FF. You guys want to make your own forum that allows that sort of humour by all means go ahead and post the whole series.

im just comparing it to...hhmm...RACISM...its allowed to discuss that in that category why not this? this is called SEXCIST(sp?) right? so...is there a huge difference? is this VIDEO that too much of a BIG DEAL compare to being RACIST?

My question is if it was posted in Mature Discussions will you and everyone else be discussing about the sexist remarks in that video? How it's disrespectful and stereotyping certain people/genders. How it may be offensive to some and inappropriate? Or will you just you laughing your heads off and repeating lines from that song?

It's stated in the rules of Mature Discussions that "sex jokes" aren't considered mature. And I do believe that it was initially posted to be as a joke and not exactly out for 'serious' discussion.
