Okay, so last night after I landed in Elderine from a Spider KQ, I went to Uruga to turn in my GS Spider quest. SKiNG was there talking to the players about a large update coming up within two weeks. He mentioned the level cap being raised to 89, and he said something about very shortly after that, they are hoping to have another update and increase the level cap to level 99.

Another thing he mentioned was the wedding system was going to be added.

He also said something about adding a NPC to each town that will allow you to warp to other towns for in-game money. No price was given as to how much it will cost to teleport to other towns using the NPC.

There was prolly more, but I came in at the last minute of it and plus everytime SKiNG would say something he was blasted with shouts and it was very hard to read what he typed before all the shouts made it scroll out of reach.

So anyways, that is the parts I heard and maybe someone else heard more, but thought I would share the part I caught.

The noise to info ratio on the officials is just terrible. I wait for people to sift out tidbits that might actually be important and then post over here.

That 99 raise better be like...

A. No the hell way am I getting married in this game. Why do so many people think that's such a good idea??

B. Haha, about the cap, I'm not even CLOSE so it doesn't concern me. My bro on the other hand is sore about it LOL I mention the cap raise and he grumbles. HAHA!

The wedding feature is going to have some pretty nice bonuses with it. Whenever you are partied with your "spouse" in the same area it gives you a 10 or 15% exp increase (can't remember exactly). You will have a ring that allows you to teleport to your "spouse". So, if you are in Roumen and they are in the depths of CP 2, just teleport to them, woohoo!! You get really cute pets to wear (which will be stated). The other stuff is just froo-froo stuff, like the whole wedding ceremony and stuff. so, there is some benefits to being married in-game.

Is it strictly man-woman marriages?

No.

Righty and Triumph are allowed to get married.

The answer I was given when I asked the same question, was that is was not up to Outsparks who could and could not get married.

Good. Because then I'd have to have to join the protesting. And the reason I said what I said about the getting married was because I was married in another game and it caused my a great deal of greif and crying....despite the fact that it was "just a game". I guess I take stuff too seriously when it comes to games...*tear*

Ah, no the key is to remember it is just a game. And if there is someone you are always partied with, then maybe think about it. But, yeah, it is just a game. It is more for convienence than anything else.

Hrn. It depends on price of the port. If the price of the port is say... 25s, then conceivably, Uruga scroll prices could actually rise...

Heh, yeah. And that could cause some serious inflation in the economy.

Looks like I'll never be capped, at this rate. Ah well. The marriage thing would interest me if I duo'd, but as it is I'm a dedicated solo.

Town NPC....... are they implementing the marketplace stuff ?! i thought that's why they wanted to put town NPC in, in the first place...

The thought of people crying over an in-game marriage has never crossed my mind :err: i just thought of all the bonuses in-game lekekeke

I saw on a blog based of the BK site... and the bonus you get is pretty good actually. And most of those players there married those who they partied with the most too to get the benefits. ;)
