Number 23

I just watched this movie after wanting to watch it for a while now and...

It's really good D:

It's about the obsession with the Number 23 xD

Jim Carey can act so serious D: But I'm still used to him being the Mask.. :uhoh:

alex_celest 08-06-2008 11:10 AM

I got freaked out by 23 for a few days and then I totally forgot about it!

My sister and I tried to find 23 in everything and since we kept failing we quit =P

Hessah 08-06-2008 11:34 AM

OOooo i should go.... find it and watch it!

Villi 08-06-2008 12:05 PM

Laifun 08-06-2008 12:42 PM

Jim Carey finds a book called The Number 23 and then he gets obsessed with it! :D The Number 23 rules the world!! :D

We all do have some "23"s in us...

<---born April 27, 1994 or 4/27/'94

My birth date [27] minus my birth month [4] = 23

1+9+9+4 = 23

23 is my class number in school.

Eh, all I can come up with now ^^

a.L 08-06-2008 01:04 PM

Holy shi-

My birthday is on 13th October, 13 + 10 = 23. Dun dun dunn.

Sero 08-06-2008 01:09 PM

Now let's see if the whole Fiesta community has "23"s in em...

Laifun 08-06-2008 01:10 PM

mine is 27th of March.. 2 + (7 x 3) = 23

OMG :P xD

I have 1 more before I sleep... My credit card :cheeky:

4 sets of numbers, 4 numbers per set. Reading the numbers backwards, I read em by tens to make em a pair of 2-digit numbers per set now. For each set, I add the two pairs of numbers [still read backwards],

So it'll look like this; take for example the last set of numbers in my card which is 1202. Backwards it is 2012, read em by tens so it is now 20 and 12, subtract and it is 20-12=8. Second to the last set of numbers is 0664; 64-60=4. Same goes for the first two sets of numbers.

now add the result of the subtraction of pairs of numbers for each set, from the first two sets and last two sets,

I will take my last two sets of numbers as example again, just as what I mentioned above. 8+4=12.

separate em and here's what I came up with.

Sum of the pairs added from the first two sets of numbers = 39
Sum of the pairs added from the last two sets of numbers = 12

Next step: Subtraction. First two sets minus last two sets, so it will be 39-12 = 27. I will name this number "A".

So I search for more numbers, and here's what I saw:

Member since 08 Valid From 06/08 To 04/10

This time, I will take these numbers, and list em from the rightmost number I see to the leftmost. 10, 04, 08, 06, 08.

I thought of fusing addition and subtraction, so I will add then take the result to subtract from the next number then add again and so on... With the same sequence, 10, 04, 08, 06 and 08.

10 + 04 = 14
14 - 08 = 06
06 + 06 = 12
12 - 08 = 04

Final answer? 4. I will name this number "B".

A minus B

27 - 4

And eh? Ends up to be just like my birth date minus birth month ^^

Equals to... 23 :D

Sorry I was bored, now I gotta sleep >_>

BONUS QUESTION: Guess my credit card number c[=

^ won't happen in a million years, and even if so it won't be any benefit to you :cheeky:

Why do you put your day 1st and month 2nd? I know it's customary in the Spanish language, but in English it's month/day/year.
