PROOF that the game will wipe after CB?
 

I want PROOF. And by PROOF I mean a GM has said it, or it was announced on main-site.

I know that 90%+ of games DO wipe from CB to OB to Release, but maybe this one won't.

Can anyone prove that it will or won't based on FACT, not prediction?

P.S: If you post that it will be wiped based on anything other then the two proofs of evidence I have mentioned above, you WILL be flamed repedetadly and to a degree that will likely get me banned. ;)

There really is no concrete proof. But by past experiences people are assuming and they have concluded. It may or may not be wiped but most people think that it will be. Next time I get a chance I will whisper a GM and see if they answer.

No proof, but the game should wipe imo.

Normaly even the GMs dont know if there is going to be a wipe or not, the only ones that decide that are the Developers, unless the GMs are the Devs too, but thats not very likely.

I heard from someone in game (not a GM) that theres a 99% chance of a wipe.

It'll be reset. I do not need to show you proof. So thar.

Most likely that there would be a character wipe, so don't have high hopes on keeping your CB characters.

They wipe to make sure that nobody uses any glitches or cheats to have an unfair advantage over others. There is no proof, but everybody should know it. I have not seen 1 game that has not wiped after CB yet.

Closed Beta is when they get rid of the Major bugs. Most games there are xp or money glitches that cause people to be insanely overpowered so they need to reset.

In Fiesta they are just doing all the events to keep you interested and return you can't expect to keep the few hundred silver that a few people now have.

In 11 years of MMO gaming and having beta tested 9 different games. the only game that did not do a COMPLETE wipe of characters after CB was Rappelz.

Concrete proof one way or another? nope I have none.
But the odds are highly stacked that they will do a wipe. :)

Works for me. It'll be completely unfair to those that aren't in the CB if there isn't a wipe.

I don't really mind if there's a wipe or not, because:

1. If there isn't a wipe, it would lessen the crowd at newbie places when I start.
2. It's not like I can keep up with the top levels anyway.

"There will be database reset after the end of CB."
So i know with 100% certainty that there will be a wipe.

I'm completely fine with a wipe. This helps them a lot in correcting the bugs.

Ohh I found proof. If you notice Kezz said somewhere "Event rewards from CB will be transfered to OB" clearly meaning there is a reset.

If you set yourself up to thinking there will be a wipe its better. You'll be dissapointed if you thought there wasn't going to be one, but then one happened which may cause you to quit the game, or you'll be fine knowing that it was reset and you can keep playing.
