You know...what you're calling 'batteries' arent really batteries because they're powered by an anode and cathode in two different electrolytes(separated by a porous barrier or a salt bridge that allows ions, not the electrolytes, to exchange sides) that cause oxidation and reduction reactions :| batteries are actually a source of eletricity that is composed of 2+ electrochemical cells joined *together*

mm.... isn't a Duracell battery a battery on its own right? lol
I haven't seen a single electrochemical cell "battery" from Duracell yet... Since they've been using "Duracell" which refers to the product of that brand, their notion of "battery" is valid.
