First of all:

WHERE ARE THE MD TANKERS?! :cries::cries:

I would not have been making this rant if we had some tankers in the KQs! Gimme them. :cries::cries:

Due to the lack of tankers in MD, I have been pushed to tank in the past four KQ's. All of which failed in the end.

First two KQ's I tanked in had about 6 people left at the end, who were really nice and tried with me.

Third KQ I tanked was horrible because half of the KQ reckoned that I wrecked the KQ by tanking (but I had to tank since there were NO fighters, not even a level 59, who can survive the MD jump; and there were two other clerics who could have done my bit when I was busy tanking since they didn't need to heal me). Anyway, long story short, the half that blamed me for the KQ pissed me off to no end.

Fourth KQ I tanked was the same as the first two.

But one thing that really ticks me off is the people who give up so early in the MD, just because no FIGHTER could tank. Rarely anyone had enough confidence with me for tanking. As soon as they see me tank, they deem the KQ fail, and leave.

Ok, I mean, I used to think that clerics can't tank cos they can't keep aggro. When I saw the first cleric tanking MD, I was in disbelief and thought we would fail. But at least I stayed in the KQ to see that I was wrong! After that, I vowed to be a tanking cleric in KQ. :smarty:

But no, I don't try to tank in KQs because I want to. I tank in them because no one else could.

BUT GRRR @ the people who leaves! To me, it seems like it's the MAGES that are the problem. I'm not targeting all the mages here, I know there is a decent number of mages out there for this generation, but gawd, most of the ones that have been doing KQs with me are awful. Really awful.

I find that they're the class that tends to leave first, which makes other mages leave. Maybe it's because there are more mages than archers at the moment, but I've seen so many mages leave when they think it's too hopeless. Maybe it's just the KQs I've been in (most probably that).

I wish I could just grab them by the collar before they spawn back to roumen and scream in their face. The reason we fail is because [I]they[/I] leave us and we are left with no DDers!! =____________=!!

I've had a fair few mages who also stayed till the end, yay for them! They rock, they rule. Other mages who give up and quit - THEY SUCK! :hulksmash:




And yes. My Fiesta life has been revolving around MD KQs. <3

I hate when that happens in a kq in general but mostly in robo. Though what I hate the most is when I'm in a kq and I happen to be the only cleric (especially in mara and gold hill) people suicide thinking that it was going to be a failed kq because there was only one cleric........

edit: For the record we won the kq with me being the only cleric at lvl 18 :D

For all of the quitters:

I've won MD with one cleric.
I've won MD with a cleric tanking.
I've won MD with an archer tanking (granted, I'm pretty sure he was hopped up on extenders, but still...)
I've won MD with one mage (it was close...)
I've won Mara with an archer tank.
I've won Mara with a cleric tanking.
I've won Mara with one cleric.

So...don't quit. People might just surprise you. After one of those unorthodox wins, you get a very "That was epic!" feeling. Give it a shot.

Most of the times i do md when we get to robo im the only fighter.Also everyones going whered the other people go because they left?Once I had to tank (only fighter) had only 1 T1 def and t1 vit a cleric had loads of T3 vits and defs.He was like "Im not going to just give them away".

Well, I don't really think you can blame him for that...he values his T3 scrolls more than an MD win..that's his way of things. You could have bought them if you needed them that bad...like offer to pay him later or something.

Just find a way to reduce my level a little bit and hop on over to Teva. But seriously, giving up on a KQ is just... bleh. Don't join in the first place. Usually you can tell by looking at the names who participated... if you believe it'll be a "fail" then just don't join. Let someone who can make it a success join. D<

TBH the only reason I don't do MD KQs is that about 1/20 clerics knows what they're doing.

Yeah, the other day I had to explain to a certain cleric that CLERICS CAN REVIVE PLAYERS. LOLWTF. xD

Wow. I must say people only do kqs and plvl and lvl up fast and never properly learn how to play their class. I wish I could MD kq :D people in robo kq know how to rev and heal :D

It seems to be the time your on at, I generally dont have a problem if
I do MD getting a tank. Its the off tanks i can never find... all the other fighters
seem to be afraid to tank.

For the hell of it, I've duo'd a Mara KQ with just a fighter and a mage, no cleric and we still finished it. You dont need 15 people if someone has the pots.

Cant really blame her though. If you're a fighter, you should've been prepared with some T3 scrolls, if not then you're pretty much going into KQ saying "i cant tank".

And, I've ran into idiots where they take my scrolls and not use it :sigh: Not saying that you are one, but she doesnt know that...

She could've slap on the T3 def, vit, and a T2 mag def herself and she can tank. That's wat blaaaaaaah is doing...

WOW now that's annoying! Haven't met any KQers like that yet, or, they didn't tell me, but yeah. BOO!

I've given up in a KQ. That's because 5 people joined Slime, and I was level 7 or something.

if you have 1 good player, thats all you need to finish a slime KQ...

u could've leveled 3 times... but u chose to gave up.... tsk tsk

It doesn't really matter. What is a level 7 fighter suppose to do, the monsters are way too strong.

Give moral support.

So say, "Good boy, cleric, heal, heal!! WHO'S A GOOD CLERIC, WHO'S A GOOD CLERIC!!!"

or

"Bad mage, don't tank here! BAD MAGE!!!"
