Yes, I do Stone/Pot!
When I'm in a party, I make sure that I stone/pot since I do attract a lot of aggro that most of the time I just can't handle. I'm not stingy about my stones or pots since I have enough money and a LOT of pots, but sometimes clerics don't heal. I've died more than three times in the half hour I was in a party, and after the third time the cleric said "will you stop dying and stone or something?" Excuse me!? I'm sitting on the edge of my seat eyeing my stone and pots cooldowns so I can spam their buttons again! You're not even healing me, you so-called cleric! And you're complaining? I'm drawing the aggro of who knows how many mobs and barely surviving with all the pots and stones while you're healing the "tank" with two monsters on him. :goaway: What's more, you have the breath to complain about me, IN BATTLE. WHILE ALL THE MONSTERS TURN FROM MY DEAD BODY AND HEADS TOWARDS OUR TANK. Joy, mhmm. -shakes fist- but at the end, our tank and I finally ditched our incompetent cleric and ran away LOL. Happy endings. |
LOL.
I feel for you Enraya~~ Sounds like you were AoEing in the Abyss and Nature's Mist just drew too much aggro. Dx That's how I usually die anyway. T3 Def and Vit scrolls seriously help. But they are kind of pricey. =/ |
Cleric and tank failed..........
or you're just toooooo powerful XD (your attactiveness must hv attracted all the mobs... LOL) u guys are either pulling more than u can handle... or the cleric is a poor cleric... maybe try use the assist action as well if u hvnt already (if u're hitting wat he tank's hitting, it's easier for the tank to keep aggro) Joy @ Happy endings! |
The cleric was obviously looking to make you look bad while saving his own ass. I know what you mean though. Especially in MD I tank with all my t3 scrolls and keep having to waste 3 each time I die and I always pot/stone.
@-editted- Wait I failed I thought you were kayem for some reason. |
Or just pick up another cleric!
I always feel so much safer when an AoE party is 1 tank, 1 mage, 1 archer, and 2 clerics. Or better yet! Find an even stronger archer than can take aggro. xD @Full--Eh? I thought she was like... level 57... |

Yeah, I know what you mean... It happens to me when I'm having to tank in KQs. I'm using up stones and pots while my Cleric is doing only God knows what cause I'm the only one taking damage in the party while tanking several Grave Robbers and Fierce Spiders. Yup, it's only a horde of heavy hitting mobs, nothing too big there. :rollseye:

i think this is not a good night for me to forum...
like i read 2 threads all about... archer tanking...diying...letting the party die...and blaming us! :sigh: i dunno if what i have to say but in your case...i think the cleric is such a noob... but...we can also say that archers do really kick some @ss in their 5x! so thats why you keep taking aggros. |
I think lvl 5x was my turning point as a cleric...
Maybe suddenly other classes started to pick up their skills and power, and my healing skills suddenly needs to improve..... i do remember there was a point in time where I was like "omg wats going on people in my party kept dying"... |
Also, if it were me in a party with just a fighter and a cleric and it was clear the cleric wasn't healing me, I wouldn't hesitate to use Nature's Protection. A lot of times, I can't even lose the mobs after I use NP because AoE Mist draws so much aggro. But I find that a lot of clerics are better at healing themselves than healing other people. ;)

I think it really was mainly the cleric's fault. The tank was really concentrating and didn't slack, but he was using a non-enhanced sword so I guess it was hard to keep aggro sometimes. And there are good clerics too XD I've been in a party where it was me, an archer, and two other mages with a cleric. We got rid of the entire room and was running around for more. I didn't use a lot of stones or pots either (but then again, I wasn't tank LOL. Our tank was a kick-ass mage running around with 3.5k HP at 5x @_@) But it was just really annoying to know that there ARE good clerics and there are clerics who slack off - AND have the breath to complain about other people. EDIT @ Ralath Most of the tanks I've partied with are quick to notice that my HP is rapidly bouncing and try to save me before I kiss the ground XD I rarely use NP on my archer. |

i failed to keep my fighter friends alive properly for a little while... this was lvl 5x Dungeon i think... i think we got a bit brave and aggroed 1 too many mobs... since then he's learnt to pot himself, and i've learnt to concentrate on healing |
Maybe I should go make a Cleric. I haven't played one since... CB. o__O Then again I'd be a crappy Cleric knowing that I'd be bored out of my mind standing back and healing. :P And you know what I kept thinking Hessah was Hyper because of that avatar.

OMG Enraya!!! <3
And that sucks... I simply leave parties when both the cleric and tank dun do their jobs... And to think I'm stingy with my stones XD |

You should play one! I think its beneficial in class debates.. I use to be like "OMG why cant fighters tank properly" then i realise they have a billion different skills to use.... mage... its hard to select target... Archers... well its a laid-back class until maybe 51+ XD i'm not sure... |

I also had so much trouble clicking as well, not just mages... I couldn't click on the tanker who was really close to the dragon cos he wasn't in my party. What do you guys click on to get them? Is there a "definite" spot you can click to get them? Like the name or something? I always try but it doesn't seem to workk. Dx |
hmm not really... i hate that too... i think i always had to walk to the side.. or wait till MD flies up... kekeke
