Like half an hour ago...

A_Forever 07-29-2008 07:21 PM

Shouldn't it be "Anyone here feel an earthquake?" o: Would make more sense with what you say after that ;D

Ralath 07-29-2008 07:21 PM

Don't live near LA. Sorry. =/

Hraesvelg 07-29-2008 07:25 PM

Manzcar 07-29-2008 07:31 PM

I've been in several earthquakes and I live in Indiana.

go figure huge fault line through the midwes.

Ralath 07-29-2008 07:33 PM

Truth.

The New Madrid Fault Line is in Midwest US and last time it caused an earthquake, it rang bells in Boston.

fullback 07-29-2008 07:35 PM

Well I live next to Yellowstone kind of so if that thing went off...

Hyper 07-29-2008 07:35 PM

I live a little north of SF and I didn't feel it... :cries:

Hraesvelg 07-29-2008 07:38 PM

That's a great area, Hyper. I spent a while in Walnut Creek. Great weather, nice scenery. The people weren't really friendly, but, eh. Nowhere is perfect.

Pretty nice. Temperatures are pretty consistent, which is nice. I'm more of a Phoenix person, myself. ;D

Haha, did you happen to go in a Jambajuice while you were there? xD

Hraesvelg 07-29-2008 07:49 PM

Nope, can't say that I did.

kirbysprite 07-29-2008 08:10 PM

My first earthquake... man phone service is down... Oh well, Myspace away!!!!

viasta 07-29-2008 08:42 PM

Yes, and your question isn't really good, you didnt stat the location of the earthquake.
yeah, i live around LA so I felt it, I live right next to Pasadena(few cities away from Pasadena)

A_Forever 07-29-2008 10:33 PM

Lol. My dad is watching the World News on ABC and they are talking about it finally.

Andromeda 07-29-2008 10:36 PM

Saw this on the news 3 hours ago and I don't even live in the US

They said it measured 5.4

Hmm thats a moderately strong earthquake but at least it wasn't anything over 7.0

A_Forever 07-29-2008 10:40 PM

Until something bad happens.. as in buildings come down, I find earthquake stories boring and repetitive D:

Flowersss 07-30-2008 02:50 AM

^Same here. I'll only find it interesting unless...the white house comes crshing down, or something of that sort.

<---Lives in Alabama. nope didn't feel it. But I saw it on the news.

Esen 07-30-2008 03:30 AM

I live near the area as well so I felt it. I was in a parked car and it shook like... like a kid's ride. I honestly didn't realize it was an earthquake though, too sleepy.

I've slept through a few small earthquakes apparently... Not surprising because this is California. And I've experienced one smaller one about 3 years ago in class one time, my chair was vibrating We almost didn't noticed because everyone was quite loud since it was 6th period, and then slowly everyone grew quiet before the teacher told us to get under the desks. xD

*remembers back in the days of bringing emergency food at the beginning of elementary school that would been giving back to her at the end of the school year*

You live in CA?! O:

I'm a failure. Probably was sleeping during this one. Dx

Esen 07-30-2008 04:27 AM

^Yes, SoCal though. :x

booyah8876 07-30-2008 04:31 AM

o shi.

I gotta call my Dad and see if he's ok.

/worried

A_Forever 07-30-2008 04:33 AM

^o.o

He probably is. It was an average earthquake o:

Carmasa 07-30-2008 04:33 AM

My whole house shook and a few of my mom's multi-thousand dollar antiques broke... ROFL.

Esen 07-30-2008 04:58 AM

Mmm, I heard it was a "things falling off the shelves" level of earthquake for some. I don't live that close so nothing around here fell.

Yosei 07-30-2008 05:30 AM

I didn't feel it, but if A_for didn't, I didn't. I'm glad, I think an earthquake would freak me out.

Now THATS a problem xD

ThievingSix 07-30-2008 08:05 AM

I felt it, 2.0 ventura. Thought Cpt_Amazing was kicking my chair actually.... I looked on the ground didn't see it. went wtf and went back to drift city. a second later cpt's sister and friends were freaking out and it was about 5 minutes later that I found out it was an earthquake.

I WANT A BIG ONE NEAR ME.

..

I love natural stuff like that. Swimming during lightning storms, big earthquake that make you fall over, winds that you can fall forward and not hit the ground, rain that floods into sidewalks. Those things make my week...
