[as I said in MSN] the pencil trick made me lol.

I was actually like D: because Heath was really good.

A_Forever 07-22-2008 03:36 AM

I know. I never really liked Ledger before. BUT OMG! WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE AFTER FINISHING THE DARK KNIGHT?!?!?

Hyper 07-22-2008 03:39 AM

The next Joker won't be as good.

BUT OMG, Harvey died? I thought that he would take up the reins as the next villain. (Two-Face.)

A_Forever 07-22-2008 03:43 AM

You now need to put a spoiler thingy on this thread @_@

Yeah. I thought that was pretty dumb. He didn't exactly get his name known, as two-face I mean.

A_Forever 07-22-2008 03:48 AM

But it was because if the city found out he was a criminal or whatever all hope and stuff would be lost. So, they didn't let the city know that Harvey had done stuff and blah blah. Batman takes the blame and yeahh.

Hyper 07-22-2008 03:49 AM

I was like "OMG, the birth of Two-Face!"

But no...

He died. @_@

I'm just glad Batman didn't die in the end.

A_Forever 07-22-2008 03:51 AM

Yeah~

Omg. When I think about the movie I get butterflies. LOOOOL Its just sooo goood. I want to eat et. notrly.... But it was awesome.

Hyper 07-22-2008 03:53 AM

Characters in DC movies just have a habit of dying but not really dying.

Like you can be blown to bits and then have those pieces burned and sent into space, but in the next movie you're good as new. @_@"

Orihime powers ftw?

A_Forever 07-22-2008 03:55 AM

Yeah. My brothers and I were talking about it. We kind of think two-face shall be back. If he's not then thats just =\

MikeyG 07-22-2008 04:28 AM

got burned only one side i was like two face! xD But when u see him in the hospital his face is alot different then in the comics and tv show o.0
One half was just pruple if i remember him.

A_Forever 07-22-2008 04:32 AM

Well, on tv they can't really do stuff like that. && in the comics...well thats what the illustrator saw in his head :x

But yeah! The Hospital part was hilarious. Except for the blowing it up and all.

OK, I saw it earlier. Pretty good flick, I like the way Two-Face looked. It was a good visual. If I recall, no one took his pulse. No mention of the body of Rachel, either. I've read too many comics to call them both perma-dead. And could someone PLEASE get the Batman a lozenge? A peppermint, maybe? He was making MY throat hurt just listening to him.

It was also good to see Keith Szarabajka in another on-screen role. He's got an amazing voice (well, he CAN have an amazing voice...his regular one is different than the one he usually uses on screen), which is why he does a LOT of voiceover work, but his turn as Holtz on "Angel" showed he's got the acting chops to do live-action work as well. (Holy long sentences, Batman!)

A_Forever 08-10-2008 07:02 AM

LOLOL. Omg. Yeah. You could tell he(Batman) was forcing the deepness and stuff waaaaaay too much. You could tell he spit a lot too >_>;

Hraesvelg 08-10-2008 07:31 AM

I think he was trying to do a whole Kevin Conroy thing, but he just couldn't pull it off.

Edit: Holy crap, I was reading a review but LOOK AT HER NAME! She's a REAL PERSON! Holy hell.

I think I shall change my last name to Greenlanternghslashidjh.

Pritcher 08-11-2008 02:54 AM

I saw it and thought it was really good too. Ledger's Joker was pretty awesome and Eckhart was really good too. Bale wasn't bad by any means, but he was definitely overshadowed by other performances this time and I agree that he overdid the gruff, gravely voice this time around. It did seem kind of forced.

I don't know about Two-Face coming back. I think he's dead and this new incarnation of the series seems to be going for a slightly more realistic approach, (as far as comic book movies go anyway), so I don't know about inserting miraculous resurrections into it, but who knows.

srabble031 08-11-2008 07:15 PM

I want teh riddler~~~~D:

Hraesvelg 08-11-2008 07:48 PM

While I do like the Riddler, I'm not too sure how he'd play in this particular tone of movie. Hopefully they'd play up the psychological tension that must be present to make someone compulsively tip off his crimes. Sure, it could be portrayed as a certain arrogance, i.e. "You'll never catch me even if I give you a hint." I'd hope they'd show it as Nigma NOT wanting to give his riddles, but unable to prevent himself from doing so due to his compulsion. I'm not sure he'll be enough to carry a whole movie, though. Maybe there will be some Catwoman sexual tension thrown into the mix.

Pesty 08-11-2008 07:56 PM

My guess for the next villain is not the normal thinking. The movie was partially based on a 4 book comic series DC did 3-4 years back. And the next villian would technically be The Holiday Killer. I will rep you if you know who that is :)
Being as the Marrone was a survivor of the movie, Its definately a possiblity thats who it will be.

Hraesvelg 08-11-2008 08:16 PM

Hmm, certainly Batman Beings and Dark Knight draw some inspiration from Year One and The Long Halloween, but it diverges enough to where they could introduce any character they want, really.
