Burger King
 

So my wife picked up some BK for lunch today and I got to thinking...

I’ve eaten at both McDonalds and Burger King in many different states in the US as well as in England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Mexico, and Canada.

In all those places the McDonalds burgers had a remotely different taste to the burger-patty but the Burger King burgers all taste the exact same everywhere in the world!

...its kinda freakin me out now

It should freak you out. It's probably that crappy smoke flavour they add to give it the "flame broiled" taste.

I don't eat burger king. I don't eat KFC either. it is cruel what they do to chickens. They hang them upside down then cut off their heads and all the blood just spurts out.

I don't really like burger king and mcdonalds.

nah i don't like either macdonalds or burger king, generally cause of the grease, and reminded my self i hated it when i was in bahrain for a few hours between flights and brought a mcdonalds.

well apparently our Maccas beef, chicken and even lettuces are from Aussie...

I can't put my finger on it but when I was young I hated the Hungry Jacks burgers and always liked the McDonald burgers better but now I love the Hungry Jacks burgers much more.

There is an Anime and Video Game convention in Adelaide next weekend so I'm gonna have lunch at Hungry Jacks in the city and enjoy a Bacon Deluxe burger :smile:

uhm...how can the *entire* US just have bad ice tea? lol
I mean its not even the same in the southern states where its sweetened (yum!)...also there is sun tea.

Besides *most* ice tea u get in restaurants and stuff is likely some brand that is international anyhow :/

...tho I would still hafta agree Mikey, most ice tea ive had sucks, that why i make my own...my *English* wife even likes it and you know how the English are about their tea!

man i hate to be the one to tell u this, but that is simply how chickens are slaughtered :/ Its not just KFC...

I believe a while back Chick-Fil-A tried *reading* chickens to death using literature like "A Tale of Two Cities" or "Little Women" (coz it works so well on school kids), but it wound up being a huge failure.

us either...today was an exception...we prefer sandwiches ... mmmMMMmmm

i didnt mean to give the impression we only eat fast food abroad, in fact we make a point not to, but its just I *had* the experience and the burger today brought me back :D

I checked around a little, and apparently at least Ireland and Scotland also get their beef and veggies from local sources as they attempt to make an effort to help stimulate the local economy. Tho with a last name like McDonald u know he *must* be Scotish...
