Fiesta Staff does care ~

Yesterday when i was playing [GM] Iceman PM'd me and personally apologized about Friday. He said he really felt bad about the thing, but well they really were working hard to get the game back up.

He must've read on this forum that I took the day off to be there for the kickoff. So they are looking :) I'll tried to screenie the convo, but i don't usually do that sort of thing so I didn't get much of it. I'll edit it in when i go home.

Personally that meant alot though. Thanks for taking the time to do that Iceman.

I took the day off also and nobody apologized to me. :(.
Hee hee, oh well. I wasn't too upset by it, I realize that they had issues and needed to correct them. I really liked the way that when we were first able to get in, they had mass blobs of mobs, to make it easier for everyone to get their mobs. I also have not experienced any lag, but that is because I recently upgraded my computer, so I can't complain about the things most people are. I also don't look at faces that much, so I can't tell you what my previous faces looked like.

Wow really? Now that's impressive. /seesGMsinawholedifferentpersective

Wow. he did it personally? I always heard lots of good things from mostly Iceman. o_O I agree, that's extremely impressive.

I haven't heard anything about iceman, but its nice to know at least one of the gms is considerate XD

Neelie 08-30-2007 03:09 PM

Aw how sweet of him xD If only the gms in all games were like that. =]

The Blue Viper 09-01-2007 10:33 AM

Indeed. Flyff seems to have soured me on GMs for all other games. This is a nice change.

Yay Iceman!

Okay, If they have a "Vote for your favorite GM" contest Iceman gets my vote! :)

We (ummm . . . we being Southern_Majesty and myself) were playing last night and I was hoping to finally make it to lvl 17 when my power went out ( CRUD!). After about an hour it was back and so was I :D, but an hour lost. No problem, never give up the ship and all that. Anyway, we jumped back into our mini grind-fest and happen to be in town dropping off our pocket full of loot and picking up a few stones when we encounter Iceman and his cute little tutor friend Madeline (sp?) on the steps in front of Julia. I stop because, oh my gosh, this will sound so so wrong :o, but, I want his wand! He is sporting a kickin wand! Glowing in all its glory with a sphere of S-shaped swirled bars on the top. Man, I could really kick-butt with that wand!

Anyway, I digress, back to the point –

So I wave to Iceman (in the cute little Fiesta girl fashion ;)) and am just staring at his wand (oops, sounds bad again ) when he blesses me with a buff of some sort. I don’t have a scroll icon up by my face, but my HP is increased by about 500 and my SP is increased (not really sure how much I had on that one). As soon as he blessed me I told S_M (who, BTW, has gone with a different name in OB) not to move and see if he blesses her. WOO HOO! He did, and let me tell you, we were off. I wish we had enough fiesta coins to just play Hit & Run, but alas, we are still rather poor little peeps so we played Hit, :p Grab :p & Run as hard as we could and got another level ticked off while we could charge head-on with less concern for heal and recover!

Hey, Iceman, if you are reading this forum, Dude, I love you! Thanks! :D

Yeah, I've gotten buffs from him before ^^ They're awesome. I feel bad though cuz people are always bugging him for buffs. I've never asked for one, but I still tell him thank you.

Thank you again Mr.Iceman! You helped me get to lvl 18 alot quicker <3

They are.

The Fiesta GMs are probably some of the best GMs I've seen.
They are constantly going to their community asking what they should add/not add, having fun events, helping out, etc.

Unlike GMs in games like GunZ (It was a bigg loss when chang and trix left T_T) and MS, where they're too busy getting paid to care D:

Yosei 09-01-2007 05:53 PM

I like the GMs on this game.

I think its funny when they randomly spawn stuff.
I kept getting my groove thrown off cuz one of the GMs kept spawning dragons on top of my dance party T~T lol

I completely agree. All of the other games I play, no GMs are ever in sight except for events. And they don't even talk and stuff. But here, they're practically part of the community. I guess there are downsides to this, such as favoritism if anyone were to ever become friends with them, but it's still great to know they care and stuff.

Lol, on a side note, Ive never gotten a buff from a GM. Ever. Even though my friend has, like 3 times. T_T"

Yosei 09-01-2007 10:14 PM

You could always ask ^^ but be kind and say please and thank you.

The GMs in EverQuest Online Adventures used to be like the GMs on Fiesta, but the whole favoritism got in the way and they had to stop -.- They would even powerlevel people.

MaxOff 09-02-2007 12:28 AM

thats the reason i dont like friendly gms. I realy like it when the gms are invisible but always there when u need them. It not like i want a poserfull friend online, i want a person that is able to solve problems i cant solve on my own.
