When did they even start this 'warning' thing. I was at 98%, server disconnected, I logged back on, oshi- back too 89% again O.O I was SOOO pishhed.

Actually they've been announcing it sparatically throughout the day.

Des and Hrae both said they couldn't get their KQs to work but I got into GH today.

So... idk. =/

Last time a server maintenance happened when I'm online was like, a few weeks ago... Final announcement went "Servers will be going down in 1 minute." 10 seconds later I disconnected already...

They dun cease to amaze XD

How much internet you have. If you have tons of pictures, or streaming video, or multiple things//people using the internet it's going to be slower because you can only get so much internet from your box.

The IP ban isn't happening? I suggest reading the announcements on main forums for you~

Off-Topic: there's a monthly limit on the amount of data I can transmit/receive on this connection. If that's exceeded, my band-width is throttled and it goes to dial-up speed.

Not really my i-net since I'm sharing it, so I'm trying to limit some stuff. And it's annoying to have to load the image twice only to look at the same image again. Spoiler tags would have come in handy ;D

I was gonna say, I saw several notices throughout the night warning the players.

I even mentioned the maintenance in guild chat when we were talking about the dragon pack sale.

Sorry it wasn't me this time doing the maintenance.

Usually I try to announce at 1 hour before, then 30 min, then 15, then 5, then 1. But I wait an extra min or 2 after the 1 min announcement.

It was a new guy who has taken over as admin. If anything, it's my fault for not reminding him on proper announcement.

I'll make sure he knows next time.

Yosei says they were doing it sparatically throughout the day, but I was afk dealing with other things so much I could've easily missed an announcement...

Although...

People were shouting about the maintenance in MT and Elderine to see if it was really going to happen about an hour and a half before it did, and since that hour and a half that 1 minute announcement was all we got.

Well at least Outspark is acting fast XD though I think during the cb I got a warning saying that the server was going to close in 30 seconds or something like that (not really sure it was a year ago)

Sorry if this may seem a bit rude but with all my SAT studying and all that dumb SAT -.- I think the word you are referring to is sporadically (don't flame me just want to know if that is what you meant when you said sparatically)

No. There was at least one announcement after I logged in around 8:00 CST. I do not think there were any within the last hour except maybe the last one right before the servers went down. But, I know I logged off at 11:00 CST - 1 hour before the servers going down and I knew about it, because I had seen an announcement earlier in the evening.
