So how far did everyone get last night?
Ironically, I was one of the first few people to make it in (my download only took 15 minutes - yah for my cable connection, which is faster than my DSL connection that I had!!), but after about 15 minutes of good play, there were tons of people all fighting over the imps, lol. I got to experience some major KSing last night. Damn all of those who kept stealing my imps :D. I only made it to level 5, before my hubby started "huffing" for me to get off. But, at least I know I can go home from work today and play more.

My thing finished downloading at 5AM this morning >=( So I went to bed. And now its telling me it cannot connect to the server.

I made it to 10 last night (13 now), with my archer.
But I went Full SPR and I think it sucks, so now i'm just... Blah... |
Well I just got on alittle bit ago, and now I'm lvl 4. I think its crazy how some people are level 20+ now.. I could never do that.

Fireriot is level 21. But as for me I got to 15.

I still can't see how people can do that.. I thought I played too much, and after two weeks, I was only to level 20.

if it wasn't for having other things to do i'd be 20+ right now too but i'm still just lvl 4 :(

What really sucks is that I was only able to play for about an hour last night, before I had to log off and tonight I'm only going to get to play for about an hour. Just enough to tease me, lol. Maybe this weekend I can get some real decent playtime in, like sitting at my computer for hours on end!!! Maybe I can send all the kids away and make my hubby go with them, hee hee.

I think the ppl who level the fastest is not due to any trick, just that they found their sweetspot and don't stop often to chat or do stuff.. like for example i found myself wasting an hour getting 2 apples or so.. was it worth it? no... but everyone goes ADD like that from time to time.. Add KQ to the mix everytime they come up (everytime!) ... and once you've leveled enough, the quests give XP by big chunks. like at some point you can get like 8000 xp over 4 easy quests where all u need to do is warp to roumen and buy entry level gear.... Just stuffs like that. |

Okay, just to say: I did NOT get to play opening night (in every sense of the word play :(). I was on the download as fast as 95% of the ppl out there (of course S_M got hers started before she called me :confused: so 3% more people attempting the download hit the server before me. Oh well, I make her pay for those things in RL :p).
Anyway, I was downloading to both my PC's when my ISP dropped. I did the router re-boot thing no less than 4 times and then called in - worked my way to Tier 3 escalation just to be told they are out till 7 a.m. the next morning. :mad::mad::mad: Next morning I am on the phone with them at 7 a.m., actually, 7:02 - let them get in their chairs at least. Well, guess what??!! They apparently don't sit down for the first half hour (where is customer service??). Finally get someone who can't help and have to wait for a callback (where is customer service??). Callback comes, no help, only hope - they will dispatch someone the next day! Wednesday afternoon I'm back online. I start the download and it hits 94% and stalls. I watch for about 10 minutes and cancel the download and start over. Grrrrrrrrrr Finally get it downloaded and :D Woo Hoo :D, I'm in (lvl 17 at log-off time last night). Oh, back to the (in every sense of the word play :() reference - the older PC in the grandkids bedroom did manage to get the full download before the ISP dropped because it is the cable connected PC, but it is an older PC and with the massive downloads and mob fests that night the lag was more than prohibitive. My poor little cleric moved like someone dancing under strobe lights! :eek: Suffice it to say stress caused me to give that venture up quick. So, to summarize: Day 1 - nada, zilch, zero! |
