Well~ The AOE party dies :nahnah: If the mage talks, the mobs don't die fast enough and the cleric draws aggressive mobs towards himself/herself and the cleric dies~ Tank dies.. than Archer (since we can Kite) we will survive [Note: Kite(ing) is the term used by archers to describe constant damage over time skills such as poison mist AOE and piercing shot (disease) AOE. I'll give you more Archer FAQ later if you need it] If the tank (fighter) talks, the mobs don't get mocked, than they aggro the other party players (usually the cleric or the mage) and they die~ Leaving the work for the archer :nahnah: ExP :cutielove: If the cleric talks, the tank gets no heals, he dies, mage dies, archer survives~ You get the idea. :nahnah: I hope this helps in a way~ When you start off a game its usually instinctive to make new friends~ ~And broaden your community :nahnah: Hope this helped :cutielove: |

Best Melee class is Fighter followed by Cleric but you might want to try Cleric first since its the easiest class for beginners. Then switch to a fighter after Lv 20 or something. If you are a Melee type person you will hate the Archer and Mage classes. They have the lowest HP and Defense of the 4 classes. Mages usually tend to pull aggro over any other class when AOEing if the Tank isnt mocking well enough and Single Boss Enemies Archers always pull aggro over any other class if the boss losses aggro on the tank. Archers can kill faster than Mages on a single targeted enemy since they have better DoT than Mages and Archers will outperform Mages up to Lv 60 on AoEing enemies. But when a Mage hits Lv 60 and gets Frost Nova thats when Archers become the least wanted class in the game. Because Frost Nova is an AoE skill and will damage any enemy in the attack radius. For very high damage meaning you can gain exp much faster with a Mage after Lv 60 than an Archer. Clerics they are a good solo class up until around Lv 20-30. They have the lowest ATP of the 4 classes but they are the only class that can heal so Clerics are the perfect class for beginners. But fighters have better HP, Def and STR but they can not heal of course but as a fighter your job is to take all the enemy hits so Fighter Class is the best class for you if you like Melee but I would recommend you start as a Cleric first until you get the hang of the game then have a crack at fighter after. |

If we were to make a poll. I'm sure most people that vote for Fighters don't really understand the full extent of an archer. Firstly, archers can take a beating quite well if we have good gears. If there happened to be a mob hidden in the bushes I'm sure we can still kite. Secondly, kiters have the most knowledge of their surroundings than any other class. Thirdly, when archers happen to get mobs running towards them. If the archer is a good one they will decide to poison mist the mob than slap on a speed scroll, and use Piercing shot in conjunction with poison mist. I'm not really saying Archer prevail over every single class. I'm saying that every class has their good points. Its just that Archers can be the most balanced class if played right. :nahnah: |
Not cleric and not mage is wat I suggest...
a Melee cleric is bad in party... so you'll be forced to support.. Mage.... squishy.. probably not the melee type of class you're after... Fighters might be a easier class to start, you dont die as easily... but in parties you're the front-liner... |

That wasn't what I was trying to inform. I'm just saying that if it comes down to it Archers can solo. Most of the time I'd prefer archers in parties. Its fun that way. Archers are melee classes depending on the weapon type. If your a bow archer your mainly melee with the help of Nature Swiftness and Nature speed. If your xbow user than mainly using skills as it is more beneficial to do so. Anyways there are different kinds of Melee. There is Close-hand combat melee and there is Ranged melee. :cutielove: Lets just leave it up to Miko to decide :nahnah: |

Yeah, I'm from PPP :s hey guys, but also thanks Maki a lot. You went above and be on to help me out :o I'm still thinking about either going fighter or archer now.. It'l be days or even a week or so before I get to DL Fiesta if I do so I guess I have some more time to choose. Thanks again guys. :think:
