Just wondering...

... what does Kangaroo meat taste like?

I went to a burger shop some while back and on their *special* menu they had a Kangaroo burger. And Boofallo and... Ostrich too.

Must be the spirit of the kangaroo...

Loveless 07-10-2008 07:02 AM

Beef but tougher... I heard it's really good for women to eat Kangaroo. Lot's of good oils or something. Maybe I'll go to that burger shop tomorrow. :d

You guys have Kanagaroos in your backyard? :O Do you hitch a ride in their pouches? The green way to get to work.

a.L 07-10-2008 07:04 AM

Contrary to popular belief, we do not have kangaroos hopping around in our backyards. They generally hang in our basements and play poker.

Also, kangaroo meat is pretty... tough.

Blaaaaaaaah 07-10-2008 07:06 AM

Yeap, kangaroos hopping in and out of our backyards. We do live in Australia, afterall. We get occasional emus too. But, we can't ride them. :boo:

Blaaaaaaaah 07-10-2008 07:06 AM

Well maybe melbourne kangas like to hang out in basements. Sydney kangas are normal. xD

Ralath 07-10-2008 07:07 AM

Was this in van loveless?

Loveless 07-10-2008 08:15 AM

Yeah, well... New West to be exact. A place called Burger Heaven.

Ralath 07-10-2008 09:09 AM

Not Heaven for kangaroo. Or ostrich.

MikeyG 07-10-2008 09:21 AM

Is it the burger place near the que?

Hraesvelg 07-10-2008 02:30 PM

I've had buffalo and emu...they're both rather lean meats. Quite tasty. But never kangaroo.
