Fault or feature?

Your name still appears on the main-page in hide-mode?

Something I always noticed when I used it.

Yeah, and I guess us mods have never paid attention to it, because we can see users even when they are in hide-mode. So, we really do not notice it.

Hrm. Well there's definitely 2 members in hide mode that I can't see when viewing the main page.

Well it looks like the names appears on the main-page when you're in hide mode but doesn't in Who's Online and the list of names at the botom of the section-page.

The number of users online as counted by the site also counts hidden-users.

I think your name only appears on the main page to you when you look at it, I don't think it is showing up for others. And when you see your name there will be a little mark by it (a + sign I think) and that shows hide mode.

The + sign means that the user is on your friends list doesn't it?

Personally I don't like the hide feature. Creates too many lurkers.

Yeah, the + is buddy list - I changed to hide mode - the hide mode gives you the *

Lol... day late.

I just figured out what lvra meant and I went to go investigate and saw that A_For's name was showing up on the main page and I was coming in here to tell you guys excitedly that I had figured it out...

and than Loki has screenies... :cries:

The names of people in ninja mode appear for everyone on the main page. I can see Val and A_For, and sometimes Triumph if he's in a ninja mood. :cutielove:
