Dark, you might be right. But ocean has gotten the money himself. And also Dark, I did this "take a survey to make money" thing for MapleStory, and it worked like a charm.

DarkPysics 07-08-2008 10:28 PM

This allways happen in every game i play i allwys see people username get hack becase of these Stupitly Scam.

Hraesvelg 07-08-2008 11:09 PM

I used to do stuff like this when I played a private RO server...but the completing of the surveys was endorsed by the server and they had referral deals. They got kickback from the completed surveys, so they gave you in-game stuff.

On the other hand, Outspark has in no way implemented an ad/kickback revenue generation scheme, so I wouldn't get too excited.

Today's Random GM Thought of the Day and the OP's message here are strangely complementary.

Loveless 07-08-2008 11:31 PM

While you're at it why not just post your account information as well as your bank account?

Spirit 07-08-2008 11:33 PM

I think Saphar was referring to this one Loki.

07/07/08 GM quote of the day.

Why is it Monday's are the days when all the players who gave away their account info come crying to me saying they got 'hacked'?

Dakkon
Because the above is a way to get your account hacked.

Loveless 07-08-2008 11:36 PM

Though it's obvious, do not post your account information or even attempt to PM this person. You may get your SparkCash but they're more likely to clean out your bank account too.

ocean4 07-09-2008 01:14 AM

0_o You guys reeeeealy distrsting. How can i scam anythig just from an e-mail adress? Mabey i didnt clarify what i ment. I just send you some invite to join a site, you take some surveys, then cash out and claim some sparkcash.

Ralath 07-09-2008 01:15 AM

How do we get SparkCash if Outspark doesn't support this? >_>

ocean4 07-09-2008 01:17 AM

You cash out to pay pal or something, then use that to get the sparkcash

Blaaaaaaaah 07-09-2008 02:01 AM

Either way, I wouldn't give out my details unless I see any proper information to prove that whoever is paying you to do their surveys is legitimate and real. =/

Hessah 07-09-2008 02:06 AM

even if you dont get hacked.. you're gonna get your email BOMBARDED with junk email! LOL

Manzcar 07-09-2008 02:10 AM

if its on the up and up why not just post the link here.

then we can go to it and find out for ourselves.

PoisoN 07-09-2008 02:10 AM

u guys r all retarded, hes not tryna scam, there are survey websites that u can use to do surveys and get paid for it but most of the sites have less surveys than the amount recquired to cash out so u have to get refferals to raise the rest of the money to cash out, thats probably what this kid is tryna do.

Hessah 07-09-2008 02:14 AM

it's a common practice to not do anything fishy with your emails and things...

one day things like this will make you lose everything

better to be safe than sorry...

Spirit 07-09-2008 02:41 AM

We are not say ocean4 is the scammer. The websites could possibly be. Yuo answer the surveys, some of them have options to sign up for other deals that you think are free, but then you start getting (or your parents) charges on their phone bill, etc. etc.

Some of the websites might take your information and sell it, since you gave it to them and they can do that.

Some of them require you give them credit card information and they say they will not bill you, but after so long, the credit card starts gettin ghit with charges.

Even the survey sights are not safe. You get flooded with spam mail in your in-box, you (your parents) get put on every calling list and e-mailing list that is out there.

Even though they seem legit, it is simply not safe or worth it.

Do I need to go on?

I agree with Poison.

As I said before, this worked last time I tried it. Worked completely fine. Plus, I just made spam e-mail for all the crap that is derived from the surveys.

You just set up a Paypal account with nothing too detail-ish and the surveys send money to that account once you complete them. I made $40 for MapleShop [MapleStory Cash Shop] when I did this. O.O

Sorry i Don't Agree, Its a Waste of time which if you send him a email he will jsut see your Infor and Take your Money Or anyting you have Irl like SS and Atm or Just Hack your Username, Its just a Waste of time and it just a scam*

Blaaaaaaaah 07-09-2008 04:48 AM

For safety measures, it is recommended to not to give out your details.

Like Manzcar said, if this is legitimate, there should be at least an official site somewhere that lists down all the information. It's difficult to judge without seeing any.

Plus, I could easily make a thread and say the same thing, but in reality, I could be handing those emails out to other companies to spam them with junk mails or something.

It is true that you can get money by doing surveys, but it is not recommended when you don't even get to see one slight bit of official site. =/

Better be safe than be sorry.

Ownage 07-09-2008 04:49 AM

Mmmk. You guys right.

Can someone move to MoS?

Hyper 07-09-2008 04:53 AM

Srsly@Manzcar.

I'm guessing the site isn't the most professional... Don't see why you wouldn't post a link otherwise.

Wait, that didn't even make sense. O_O He'll take your money/things IRL? How does that work? And "hack your Username"? Oplz.

Shiirn 07-09-2008 05:55 AM

It's official. I'm the only person that collects spam email. >___>

<--has 1091 unread email messages (Spam)

And he's just trying to do what Poison said.

Ivramire 07-09-2008 06:00 AM

^I have 548+501 unread messages on two e-mail accounts.

I don't do things that sound too good to be true.

Because they always are.

It's still suspicious :|

Loveless 07-09-2008 03:46 PM

Do it if you so firmly believe it's "fine". Just don't go writing to Outspark about getting your crap stolen or ranting on FF about it. You had been warned.

Pure_Tanker 07-09-2008 03:52 PM

If one cannot present their ideas in a coherent fashion, one tends to discount those ideas altogether. I'm a bit leinient on these forums because, even though the common language is English, there are many people here who don't speak it as a primary language.

On-topic: That he wants PMs only seems to be a bit on the shady side. Also, if you do use a link from this chap, don't use his referrer code when you sign up. Go to the main URL.
