Stone Making / Scroll Making?

Scroll making can make you rich once doing T3, However ... it is much harder to get mats and takes alot more to make just 1. Abyss will give you tons of stone mats and if you decomp also you can make a killing. Elrue and Lix seem to be the ticket, Xir is really only used by Cash Shop enhancers and has a smaller market. Your greatest profit is probably made on Lix2 depending on your server. Lix2 = 5s thats almost as much as a vit3 scroll except you can only sell 10 at a time unless you have purchased extra slots. I say if you vend everynight, Stones are the way to go. I make stones to sell and scrolls to use. I decomp and don't have to buy a single mat anymore. 50x5=250s in an evening, if the moon is right.

Awesome. Yeah, I vend every night. So Stone Making will be great then. And as you said, I make scrolls only to use; I have been since I started.

Right now, I can only make T1 Lix... I just buy the Copper [LQ], and instead of buying the mats to make the Elrue myself, I just buy the Elrue plain out from vends around the smith. Copper [LQ] + Elure = Lix. ^^

I'll just say this: thanks to Tier 2 Elrues, I have enough cash now to make a new guild!

Both, but Scrolls take so much work and points till you get lots of money, Stones are easier and faster.

So, does that mean I make T1 Lix all the way through to T2 Elrue? Or do I do Xir until T2 Elrue?

Do the Xir (1). It gives you 9 pts I think.

And you can still sell it. I sold all my Xir 1. But it just might not sell as quickly.

I can't imagine only doing Lix (1) to get all the way to Tier 2. x.x

I find that I can get a bigger profit margin from Scrolls than Stones..

(Like if i spend 1s making scrolls, i can sell it for 2s, but if spend 1s to make stones i can only sell it for 1.2s...)

But that could be just the way I obtain my scroll materials (decomp FTW XD)

but that might be something u wanna think about..

Really? I do it all the time. Buy dim dusts 90c ea, sell Tier 2 Elrues 1.5s ea. It all works out, and 690c profit with each Elrue sold.

^^ Yeah... I sell Lix [1] 1.5s Belas.

Ew, Tier 1. Last time I checked on Elrues, I found it cheaper to buy from NPCs than from players. I suggest you get to Tier 2 ASAP, and get that nightmare over with.

well i make all my stones into xirs for the points... so maybe that's where my problem is hahaha

and.. for a while back.. i couldnt sell off my Elrue [3] at 3s... so i hv to sell it at NPC material price.. which is... 2.5s each... i think...

and scrolls is more space efficient for me XD a stack of 50 over a stack of 10 stones.. LOL

Ugh, tell me about it. Stupid 10 stack rule... *grumbles* ...lousy developers... *grumbles some more*.

well.. let say it cost u 3s to make each scrolls..

that means u gotta fork out 15 gold.. before u can make the 30g back... XD

I still find my scrollmaking (t3) to be the most profitable venture I've ever had - mainly because of a network you can create.

I have 6 people that sell their mats to me at the following prices - SBL HQ=500c, BL HQ=300c, BDT=1.2s, Toadstools (HQ=500), MQ=100, Tought Leather 500c.

After the decomp, this runs to about 2.3s per def scroll, 3.5s per vitality scroll.
Selling def/vit at 5/7s gives me about twice profit, yes....

But I make them in INSANE amounts - hundreds, a few times thousands, at once.

If I focus on contacts and buying/selling/decomping, I can easily fork out 12-15g every couple days (with lots of afk time for productions :P)


My fighter can only make t2 elrue. And she does. Hundreds. Which I then NPC. For the hell of it because my scrolls sell MUCCHHHHH faster (Especially at the cheap price of 5/7s.)

You can start small and work up

T3 toadstools are getting harder to find now that they moved the shrooms in AEW ><

unless someone knows where they moved the massive shroom patch...?

They moved the massive amount of mushrooms off to the side - and it's not massive anymore, just 5 on the inside of the glade and 4-5 on the lane going around to enter the glade from the back (The one with 1-3 trumpies every so often) - Much, much, MUCH slower, but better then nothing.

yeah i saw about 10 mushrooms on the side.. and if someone is already there.. u cant really go and fight for it without being rude....

sap farm has moved further into the plains... you hv to go into the bushes, pass the fences.. right into where the giant trees are... there's soooooo much wood there its annoying coz we kept clicking onto them...

To send into FoS and laugh at the 5 digit numbers that spring up as they go flying (Oh wait, that's only male archers)

I mean... as Anubis said, once I can make T2 Lix... that's about 250s a night. ><
