Well at the last pic there, DONT CLICK on anything! Then it should be finished. ;)

If any errors, just post here. It worked fine for me.

There are also questions and error answered already.

Oh well for people who thinks it is against the ToS.

Look here: ToS

There is nothing against this. ;)

Ownage 07-02-2008 12:05 AM

~shakes head in sheer amusement.

It is posted, because if in the future, something does happen, then ^^ look here.

Nothing has been completely settled with the IP bans. I think most people call this preperation. so, that if something does happen, it is already here and no one has to panic or wait for it to be posted.

VPN might work, but seems a bit overkill. From my experience, it seems that you just need to let the authentication (which is over HTTP and consists of just a couple of packets) go over a proxy and you're set. Once the game itself start (server selection screen etc), you can just use a regular connection.

Hyper 07-02-2008 12:16 AM

Yeah, I don't see why everyone is moaning about this. You can use proxy programs and it'll probably work.

Proxy programm are much slower than this here. And this worked also for other games alrdy. I put a link above to onrpg.com forum where people approved this for other games with IP block. :-) Enjoy!

I heard this doesn't work on vista.

zumoku 07-02-2008 04:37 PM

i cant get to part 3. Setup
it just finishes there :cries:
wheni look at my desktop theres an application of the soft ether file and i am where you say 'Double click this!!! then this wil appear!!!' but it comes up with a yes or no question and when i pick yes it comes up with a warning sign with full of words, when i pick no nothing happens.
is it cos i have vista?:uhoh:

Aerythia 07-02-2008 04:49 PM

I've got Vista >.>;;

Maybe the good old "Run as Administrator" trick needs to apply here...

Yami 07-02-2008 07:16 PM

=D

And I've got Vista too ._.

I was reading the official forum and they were talking about transferring characters and putting them on an "advanced server" for when the game gets out of Beta.

Though I can understand people wanting to play this version considering many of their friend's are on it.

Try run as compatibility Windows ME or Windows 2000. Might work then.

I should imagine that giving out player details to another company may attract some privacy issues...

hopefully they'll give players a box to tick and say "yes pass on my details" and able them into transferring data (or sparkcash in the least).. IF it's necessary...

Ivramire 07-03-2008 03:58 AM

It's almost like selling e-mail addresses...

That's not true.

Sorry, but I would certainly not recommend anybody to try this unless they know exactly what they are doing. This might seriously mess things up.

1. Yes if you can find an proxy out of 100000000 which is fast. Also mainly people just know how to config an proxy for browser which wont work for Fiesta or other games.

2. This is like this here [Mine is older and free version]: http://www.plathome.com/products/packetix/index.html

Quote:

it creates a virtual image of an Ethernet, with LAN cards, routers, hubs and switches.
But just for free.

I tested and didnt had any laggs. ^^ Only sometimes like I always had before.

bloodrops 07-05-2008 03:14 PM

So...what happens when this program is removed...the usual not-usable-anymore?

Aerythia 07-06-2008 02:27 PM

Any help for Vista players? Other than the usual "yeah get Windows XP" comments? >.>;;
