CS points, how much cost?

So, I would like to know how much the points, wich we by the CS Items with(
the points we got 12500) will cost.
Anyone know already?

I dont think outspark has spoken on the subject...so all i can say is heard they will not be expensive.

Nike 08-25-2007 02:45 PM

i would guess around 1usd=1000 but i could be wrong

rokaraged 08-26-2007 08:14 PM

1000 to a USD is usually the average for most games.
Trickster is the same.

secbro20 08-27-2007 12:22 AM

flyff is 1 USD=100 of the Cash shop money so they could go that way too. Ive never seen a game with 1 USD=1000 CS money

rokaraged 08-27-2007 12:27 AM

Well judging from the CB item prizes..

If it was 100 usd points thats about 21 USD for a special pet for 30 days.
around 20-30 usd for a 15 day house..

I HOPE they will not set it to 100 points a usd X_x;;

Well, that's how much flyff is. pets are like $27-$30 but they last forever. Since it seems these items are only temporary, I hope they will make it 1000pts=1 USD. If they don't, I don't expect to use the cash shop. If they charge $20-$30 for a pet that is temporary...bleh.

I bet it will be 1USD=100 pts

well i hope they will make the shop items tradable, so i can buy them from rich kids. I wont spend real money on such a game :)

Chances are they won't.
Not only does it force people to buy cash shop items but also it prevents people with multiple accounts from amassing points in events where cash shop points are handed out.

But then again, in cb2 cash shop items that people did get thier hands on were tradable.
They might impliment a gift system though.

if they're not tradeable then they won't get money due to the cs wants of those who wouldn't spend money. if it's tradeable they will because people who will spend the money sell to those who won't in game so they'll buy more than what they want for themselves

rokaraged 08-27-2007 01:11 AM

Its all different in each game really...

I don't think people will really just buy cash shop items to sell to others do they?

Show me a statistic or whatever...i'm just implying what most cash shop mmos i've seen do.

+Tequila+ 08-27-2007 01:18 AM

items wont be tradeable so these special holiday weapons an costumes give up on buyin them unless you use the cashshop...make cashshop items sellable ruins the game economy badly. But thats jus my opinion.

that's how it works in flyff where cs items are tradeable. there's many people that don't buy gp but they buy cs items from other players for millions of penya. a restat which costs 2kgp (~$20) sells for 150mil in game. some sets sell for about 105mil and pets can sell for up to 140mil on lawolf

-EDIT- but spros are the biggest thing, they're the easiest to sell and i think go for about 4mil each now on lawolf. you get 5 for i think 500gp (~$5) they also come in bundles for 2kgp

secbro20 08-27-2007 01:28 AM

The economy is flyff isn't completely screwed up. Except for one server set but that is because there was a penya hack where players created billions of penya( the currency) and now everything on that server is hyper-inflated. I don't think that allowing CS items to be traded would screw up the economy but it would inflate the money a bit, which would really suck for new people

Destrus 08-27-2007 01:32 AM

there's good and bad for it. yes prices on everything tend to sky rocket so people can afford more cs items as the cs users raise their prices but at the same tim it allows for people who aren't able to use the cs to get cs items.

rokaraged 08-27-2007 02:17 AM

So far i've only heard flyff has tradeable cash shop and that the economy is screwed.
If cash shop wasn't the reason its screwed it really didn't HELP either.

aibatt's economy was screwed because they got hit hard by the effects of the penya hack a while back, from what i hear it's evening out. the inflation isn't so much because of tradeable cs as it is because of the cs sellers. the cs sellers and some impatient buyers. cs sellers of course want to raise their prices, some impatient buyers try to buy for more than current market value so the sellers start to try to raise their prices for everyone to that. then prices for greens start going up so people can afford to buy spros etc. for their sets. though the prices seem to stabilize. right now i think spros are at 4mil, blade equips are the ones that are really outrageously priced. other thigns like yoyos are pretty cheap. the economy really kinda balances itself out

MaxOff 08-27-2007 10:43 AM

well the reason aibatt has so much money is becouse its the oldest server. Aibatt is running since beta2. And it wasnt reseted since then.

The reason FlyFFs econmony is so screwed are the cash shop items, but most importantly the gigants. A High Lvler can easly make 5M per Gigant, and they love to have +10set and useless cashshop sets, so they generate shit loads of money.

And the very last reason flyff economies screwed is that it doenst have any system to let the money disappier again, so the money just grows and grows and grows.

Niion 08-27-2007 11:43 AM

This is quoted from Dakkon to me:

"find out when the game is released"

lawolf is the oldest server, not aibatt. aibatt was the second server, it came after beta. aibatt's economy got screwed by the penya hack, it apparently got hit the worst by it
