Just to put it out there...the very first ones will be utter crap.

Why?

A crowd of level 5's that can no way in hell tank a Boar, much less a King Slime. >_>

Most likely but if the first KQ is 2hours after the start of OB then some people will be over level 5.

Bleh.. I don't think I'd bother with KQ, I'll just go grind away xP

I never KQ'd seemed like a waste when i can get more exp+money grinding

20 minutes of KQ saves you a bunch of time spent grinding and losing supplies...

It balances out, I'd say. King Slime KQ gives 1125 exp, uses less supplies (on average), and potential chance for good equipment, whereas grinding you burn supplies more (on average) but you might pull off a rare item or two.

I agree with Triumph and on top of what he said you also have a good chance to meet other people because grinding can get pretty lonely.

Depending on where you are, the shout convos are usually entertaining >_>

it's better to do king slime to lvl than grind at that lvl. mara depends on the group. if you think there's a good chace to get a good group then do it every time. if not then you're just wasting a ton of stones. GH is great though, haven't failed it once, i definately recommend doing it. i don't know about anything past that though.

oh and if they don't add more getting into a KQ is going to become very hard

Same here! Although they have probably nerfed the prizes from CB1 but I'd still join for the earrings and things anyway. Besides, it's fun. =D

either way i'll have fun again yelling at nooblets in a KQ thats actually beatable:D
