Theme Challenge [19/40]
 

Since a number of you guys like to draw, I've decided to stea- I mean borrow an idea from a forum I used to visit (and a friend, please don't kill me if you see this). Of course, it has been done on DA.

Here's a list of themes and all you, the wonderful artists out there, have to do is produce a drawing with one of the themes in it.

And as always, keep the drawings tasteful. No nudity in case any issues come up.

BUT, most importantly: No ripping other people's work.

Jebus, I have to keep adding stuff. Anyway, it would be good if you state which theme you're picking beforehand, so we won't have more than one person doing a particular theme at the same time.

As long as you draw by hand, I guess. Pen/paper, or tablet/PS. Doesn't really matter.

Ooh I remember this! 'Twas fun though it never got far on the other forum. Hopefully we can slowly build this up! I'd surely join. Not sure what I'm gonna do yet though.

Well I'm using PS/Tablet, can I use the tools in PS? Like make straight lines and stuff? and when I draw people I like to make a duplicate of something to make it perfectly symmetrical >< or does it have to be 100% hand drawn? T.T cause I can't make things perfect with tablet D:

I think that's okay, as long as the drawing is still "tasteful". I'd imagine that we just wouldn't want a drawing in MS paint done in 5 minutes kind of thing. Gotta make it look like a real artwork (somewhat).

You can download their trial version from their actual site and try to finish the picture in 30 days.

Im done... >.> the theme is "HEAVEN" the picture looks bad because my hand was cramping up and i rushed to finish -.- which explains why she loooks so short xD....An angel was the first thing i could think of.....:zomg:

my idea would have the themes mother, love. light, dark, smile, fortitude, and maybe memory
but omg just thinking about it kills me x.X so much work~~~
the hair and dress/night gown that I want to do is the main death part
absolutely no time :cries:

Project? O_o I can't colour if my life depended on it... so if and when I do submit it'll be a scanned pencil sketch. *0* At least I have an idea of what I'd like to do.

I have a picture I drew before, but it has a little bit of nudity >.> (I was in a "draw huge boobs" phase) Is that okay?

As long as it is 'tasteful' nudity I think it'll be fine..

Story behind picture:

So... this girl... comes to her house and.... a ninja cuts her arm off! So she screams and is afraid and she cant do anything about it XD That expression on her face is fear and hopelessness?? she doesn't know what to do and shes all freaked out. Yesh I know the blood looks way too fake XD Oh and the text kinda gives it an emotion of phsyconess..Yea I know I'm crazy o.o

If you're using Photoshop you can look for some blood brushes for realistic effects too.

Oh noes I should've done that >.> Oh well I don't feel like going back now XD I have so many brushes why didn't I have blood? >_>

Seriously? o.o I thought it was the least I could do with a "Blood" topic >< I was hoping for like dead bodies eye ball squishing blood oozing horrifying thing, but I don't have skill T.T
