What happened to Fiesta?
 

about 2years ago, I first signed up to this forum, and there was constant threads being posted, and lots of activity on the forums. Now it seems it has died down, and only the most loyal members still visit regularly. And many of those new members we do get wont stick around for long. I long to see Fiestafan flourish as it once did. I also contributed to the decay of Fiestafan's glory when I quit the forums for almost a year. :cries:

It was all new and interested 2-3 years ago..

We've just lost the hype...

I wonder why new members wont stick around though.. are we scaring them off?

I'd imagine any new people would want to talk about Fiesta. But all the old members who've stuck around are all Fiesta'ed out.

The new people don't start many discussions about Fiesta, though. There are a few people who still play. And we all have opinions, heh.

you can count on me though, I still <3 fiesta ;D I think. but I tend to disappear for short/long periods of time too.

oh and @ the thread title itself: shit happens.

Then how come it never says "Guild Member SerodingSliver has logged on" XD on topic:like hessah said weve just lost hype.

hmm from what I can tell, Fiesta's interest has declined. I for one and temporarly retired from Fiesta. But maybe we can blame it on Outspark maybe. I know a lot of people who have left just because of Fiesta's downturn, and the increasingly stupid stuff that Outspark is adding. I can rant, about how Isyel could of been the catalyst on the main migration out of fiesta. I think that another company should import Fiesta (Bright Kingdom) back to the US (maybe Perfect World International?).

But my main point is that Outspark has killed Fiesta... which means that no one is going to be interested in a fan page for a dying game. I am on merely because I think that everyone who posts is awesome.http://www.laymark.com/i/m/m015.gif

i have noticed the decline as well. when i first found this site it was more active and a valued resource.

There have been comments about the community on Fiesta that are likely reflected here.

Could be there are plp searching the site and finding their answers so have no need to post?

hehe, me too! I don't play fiesta much right now but when I get in the mood I binge until I get bored again...

I'm with lvra. I'm more here for the peoples, I've long moved on from Fiesta. It's good for a beginner/casual MMO, but once you've played others, its hard to go back.

I'm one of those "newer" players and indeed I'm finding a lot of answers to my questions on the forum already. I have posted some threads because the answer wasn't out there, but most of the time you guys have already figured everything out for me... ;)

hmm maybe we should stop talking about problems, and start bragging about how kickass... or not kickass you are in game.

Or delete all the old helps and make people post new thread and ask things again LOL (no dont do that my post count would drop)

I still care for Fiesta, but it seems Im one of the few....Of course I've played other MMOs, but I just seem to get attracted back to my roots which began with Fiesta. Of course there are better games out there but I just can't bring myself to leave Isya

Yeah I know what you mean.. I unofficially "quit" for about half a year.. I didn't intend to stop playing.. it just happened..

Then I started again in my xmas holiday.. thought it was awesome with the new CC and started my fighter again (which I found really boring previously)

Then now.. I dont feel like loggin in again with the thoughts of repeatables quest =.=

LOL! Thats why I stay away from those things, only King Quests are worth repeating

Seriously cannot beat the in-game bots in ESO. I don't think I can ever manually grind in an MMO anymore.

become nocturnal, and eventually you'll find the best times to log in to do them pesky KQ's than noone wants to join....make sure to bring cofee, about 12 cups worth

I recently returned to fiestafan after 6 months away and I have also noticed that the former livelyhood of the forum has died. I think it is because the game has changed so much and now new players are getting it much easier then we got two years ago.

we should make this forum more funny to be on

The forum is still interesting enough it's just that 90% of the posts are no longer Fiesta-related.

Yeah, I noticed...its what makes this forum interesting. You never know what someone might write

Funny how the main part of this forum lies in the Mountain of Spam..

Can you imagine how ridiculous the post counts would be if those counted?

I wish private guild forum posts still counted.

On ONRPG all posts count, even those in the general ( spam section ) yet post counts arn't that high.

maybe no one really talks about what the topic is?

I guess the topic of this thread tends to get away from most of us, and others just respond to people's posts, even if it isn't relevant to the topic

Honestly, it's just that Fiesta Online, the game, has failed. When a game fails, so will the fansites that follow it

i agree to this thread for It has died out last year or so I would go on and would be new post every 20 or so min and now every day or so
